Jags QB without doubt came up with the Michael Jordan-esque play of the day today. 4th and 2 potentially last play of their season and he scrambles for about 20 odd yards. Superb.

Three for me, and two for them.

it'd be nice for the pats to go 19-0 and win the superbowl but having played for the PORIRUA GIANTS in the AFW (American Football Wellington) competition a few years back......how can i not have a soft spot for the G-Men?

I feel sorry for Eli Manning as well, he's not THAT bad.....his O-line just doesnt look after him as good as they should.

If the G-Men pull this off it will be one of the great Superbowl upsets possibly of all time.

Three for me, and two for them.

What really upsets me is that out of the whole Manning clan, it's only Archie that never made it to the Superbowl....

how would be an upset? the Giants are one of the teams (along with the Ravens) to really push the Pats in the regular season.

I wouldnt be totally suprised if the Giants win, but suprised a lil bit

I personally cant stand the Mannings but I like the most because he's not Peyton and Archie is a gay name anyway.

I'm a Vikings fan. If only we had a decent quarterback we could really do some damage.

BOOOOOOO!!!

Geaux Saints, good start on the weekend. What made it even better, the game was on Sky Sport 2 on Monday night. It's gonna be a dedicated slot for NFL games that are carried by Fox in the US (day games in the US, the ones we get here on Monday and Tuesday afternoons live are nationally televised night games in the US). So hopefully they show a good cross-section of teams, I was lucky to see they had the Saints and Bucs last week, I think they have Giants and Rams this monday.

Lost to Indy 18 -15. lost it on a FG to Vinatieri (What a surprise) Jackson another poor performance at QB atleast he got over 50% passing this time but no tds just the 5 FGs. Peterson once again 100 yards rushing.

I've lost touch with the NFL.  What happened to the Houston Oilers?  I've known for a long time that L.A. doesn't have a team since the Raiders moved back to Oakland.  Seems odd that the 2nd biggest city in the US doesn't have a team in the NFL !!

Houston Oilers = Tennessee Titans these days. Houston Texans were an expansion franchise in 2003, and have no connection to the old Oilers side.

LA has not had a team since 1994 when the Rams moved back to St. Louis. LA not having a team in the NFL is well-worn joke in the US...

Did the Rams originate from St Louis?  I thought they started as LA.

The old St. Louis team was the Cardinals, but they're in Arizona now.
Not to be confused with the MLB Cardinals, who are still in St. Louis.

Always tonnes of talk about LA and Toronto getting expansion spots (though lately  it looks more like Buffalo relocating to take care of the latter). Nothing overly official though.

Toronto?  But don't the Canadians play a 13-aside version of the game?

Anybody got a replica playing jersey of their fav team?  I've got a Dolphins & Seahawks jersey.
