a) Who do you think will win? Simple, The Pats win for the following reasons, Mike Vrabel has been put at OLB with Adalius Thomas at ILB. They will provide pressure up the middle and on Mannings weak side. The Pats run a similar offense to the Colts in the sense that they change plays on the fly....so the Pats D will be well accustomed to it. Conversely, this could apply to the Colts as well, but I think the fact Matt Light will nulify Dwight Freeney sets up Brady to eat the Colts secondary all day. The Colts D will have 2 options, try and pressure Brady using Bob Sanders in the box or drop him into coverage.....the fault with this is that Crady hits his checkdowns so quick it will be almost impossible for the Colts to react quick enough. The Pats D will own the Colts, I think they have way to many playmakers and with Rodney Harrison back in the frame......scary.
b) Who do you want to win? Pats, I hate Manning
c) Who has the best QB? Tom Brady has won 3 Superbowls, Manning has 1. Tom Brady is a quicker reader/reactor after the snap, but pre-snap Manning can scan/plan better than anyone in the history of the game. A QB is often defined by his Offensive Line and can attribute how "good" he is to that.........with all the above factors in consideration.....Tom Brady is the best.....no doubt.

At the end of the 'Boys, Eagles game yesterday:

Al Michaels: "...you know when you go on the road and you look around a 70,000 seat stadium and you see about 4000 people left, you know you've had a good night"
John Madden: "You know you've whipped 'em".

some good (big) plays this weekend gone in the world of the NFL, Manning throwing 6 INTs would be my personal highlight (i hate the pr!ck). What about T.O and the Cowboys? Romo is lookin good.

Romo is on fire and the whole team is playing well. O-Line is awesome and the D is dominating. Can't wait for the Dallas - Green Bay game (Nov 29th) which will decide the best team from the NFC.

Superbowl prediction - Patriots v Cowboys.

Hey News, Philly are on a roll, 2 wins in a row!

Mind you it was against Miami.
Do you suppose Miami could be the first ever team to go 0-16?
Try this, if Miami don't win another game and the Pats don't lose then the Dolphins could go from being the last team to go undefeated to being the last team to go winless!

Are these Pats the best NFL side ever??? Another week another hiding i mean 56-10 i was flicking between it and the cricket and like Madden said they just make everything look so easy when it's supposed to be so hard. Wouldn't bet against them going 16-0 now.

And yeah Malky, i think the Fins will go 0-16 they are just complete and utter gobsh*te. Unlike the Lions this season for a change, still hanging in there despite the loss to the Giants this morn. Huge game next week vs the Pack though.

Three for me, and two for them.

It could be a great year for Boston with the BoSox as WS winners and Pats favourites to win Superbowl. Plus the way Celtics have been playing this season (8-1) they got a good chance of winning the big three.

Lions v Pack is thanksgiving (Friday NZ time). l was hoping like hell it would be on ESPN but no such luck. Alas, looks like we won't be seeing Kitna et al this season. (Uness they smash the Pack and earn a wildcard spot).

Hey, anyone see the wild end to the Browns, Ravens game?

The Browns had a 51 yard field goal at the end to tie the game which was ruled no good. But after reviewing it the ball had hit the post, gone through then bounced off the central support and back into the field. So the kick was ruled good.

Some of the Ravens had to be called back from the locker room for extra time which the Browns won.

Bizarre!

How can the ball hit the post and cross the line, then do a u-turn, hit the crossbar and end up in the field of play?

Unless they were playing in Wellington?

It didn't hit the crossbar, it hit the central support that holds up the crossbar.

The Pack have beaten the Lions 37-26 to go 10-1.

Now, if the Cowboys can beat the Jets (currently up 7-0) then next weeks game should be a cracker.
