man that was a sensatoinal game of cricket, even though it was only a 20/20 its still good to beat aussie. tate, what a c**t with his arrogance after getting the 1st wicket

Watched it and thought McCullum played some outstanding shots although to me T20 innings seem to lack the edge getting a test or ODI hundred does because you don't have the pressure of losing your wicket on you anywhere near as much (ie. if you lose your wicket in a test it can cost your team a lot where as in T20 it doesn't anywhere near as much).

Felt dirty at the end cause I placed a bet on Australia just after the break and started calling them "us" without thinking.

Don't worry though, I stayed at the pub and washed my mouth out with Alcohol.

shows McCullums form of late to have the composure to get 180ish in a test when we really needed him to and then a blazing 100 in a 20/20. great stuff

180 in a Test against Bangladesh. Sterling effort

Three for me, and two for them.

He also scored New Zealand's highest ever ODI score against Scotland. Don't forget that!

i know mcullum often scores big against the lesser temas or in games when we dont need it as much but hopefully, based on his recent form he can win us some games against aussie

Well, it worked.

Well done, KP.

Cheers KP.

Who was it that said McCullum doesn't do very well against big teams. I know it was only 1 good performance but it was against a very very strong Aussie team.

It's easy to scoff at it, but he had to do it, he was put up against Bangladesh and he did the business. 180 is a huge innings against anyone, and most of the top order couldn't score anything near it (part from Guptill).

The horse Racing at Te Rapa? cant think of much else on here today and i cant imagine much of a crowd on a wednesday. Especailly not when there is cricket to watch on TV.

Oh and 27 degrees, very optimistic for hamilton, as awesome a city as it is!

Oh Geez, Vetorri is out. Oram now batting 8 below Franklin, Broom and Styris. No spinner either.

There goes our tiny bit of hope we had, They frustrate me how they bat Oram so low

I agree, he is a waste at 8. Has shown time and time again he cannot cope with coming in with anything less than 15 overs to go. He needs time to settle in, he cannot hit from there. I would get rid of broom, include Mcullum and have Oram at 6.
