Don't know how we are in this position - the seam bowling has been rubbish.

That was a good spell from Marto just before tea, seemed to have found his rhythm. Bowling quick and getting a little bit of shape.

Disagree with you Mike about our seam bowling today, thought Southee opening spell was outstanding and Arnel has been good in patches. Marto was average early but has bounced back well.

Couple more wickets this session and a great day for us!

231 all out. Last 7 wickets went for 59 runs. Great effort.

I'm quite confident we will still blow this.

Vettori batting by stumps. Likely.

I'm a little nervous. Still need another 17 runs to pass the follow on and only 9 wickets left.

Id say we won that day. As for tomorrow we will probably be all out for a grand total of 44

Just got home from football, cannot believe the scorecard.

As 2B said we will probably blow it but hey at least we won a day against them

Three for me, and two for them.

Slightly uncalled for to a guy a) averaging 49 in domestic cricket and b) got done by the best ball of the summer, and the first ball that Johnson has swung all year.

So when were we not allowed to criticise players on here?

Nah i'm pretty sure i criticised him aye bro. Continues to blow every chance he has when the silver fern is on his chest. But apparently he's quality because he scored a double hundred once and dominates some part time bowling attacks in our fragile domestic scene.

The knowledge of cricket 'fans' on here sometimes

Sorry Buffy, didn't know you were the all knowing cricket guru here. My bad. Your right, Sinclair didn't get out to a great ball, it was rank. He also doesn't deserve to be entitled to play domestic cricket.

Sorry, henceforth I will no longer disagree with you on cricketing matters.

We don't have any other batters anyway. Sinclair my son, unless you get a 100 in the next innings. Your gonneeeeeee forever

Taylor needs to curb this aggressiveness. Could (and should) of been out twice now. We need him to stay and get a big 100.

Nice one Guppy.

Taylor should slow soon. He usually slows down considerably in test and one dayers when getting close to the 100.

Lunch. 143/4. f**king huge blow to lose Guppy right on lunch. Taylor should settle himself over lunch and come out with a less attacking stance in the 2nd session, we can't afford to lose more soft wickets.

Three for me, and two for them.

And we have a f**king ridiculously long tails, I thought one of the problems of Wellington was our tail, and we've gone and made it longer !! Patel at 8, far out that's pushing it.

It's a bit funny to criticise others about there knowledge when the stats you list in your rant are wrong. Sinclair has 2 double centuries....

I was speaking in general.

And as for we don't have better batsman. Why was Williamson picked then? Week long holiday in Hamilton? Youth is the way of the future, not some overrated donkey who lives off a few double centuries scored 10 years ago.

Three for me, and two for them.

Vettori goes. McCullum and Taylor together is a ticking time bomb. We have a tail as long as the f**king Nile.

Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.
