I'm a little more optimistic - halfway through the last session would be my pick.

f**k they are using the predicted path.  Ridiculous as it often seems very wrong.  Would rather that part be left to umpires interpretation.

guptill, as we all no, is capable. flynn frustrates me. i like elliot in limited overs, his test record isnt good but that was before he started playing well for us in the odi's so he should do ok i reckon

Superb start.

I was wrong, very low full toss around outside of off stump, terrible lazy technique pushes bat at it late without foot going causes inside edge back onto leg.

knuckle down and get to work

right, theyre hitting some 4s. lets not get carried away and loose another wicket as we so often do. seems to be either boundrys or wickets sometimes

I f**king hate it when Cricinfo has a slow update cycle and you sit there sure it's delayed because of a wicket... then it wakes up with a whole over of dot balls.

How's my driving? - Whine here

What are the odds that Guptill's gonna get to 30 off 25 playing some classy shots, and then find a ridiculous way to get out?

Flynn Gooone.  Another inside edge, this time to keeper.  Bat far to far away from pad.  Very dissapointing.

That or top edge to deep backward square/long leg

Yeah, I'd pick Guppy to get a quickfire 35 or so. Better prove me wrong. I hope Elliot does well.

Guptill dropped in a sitter at first slip - shortish ball just outside off, Guptill plays away from body and guides it to first slip where it runs through his hands and crashes into his noggin just above peak of cap.

Guptill = Legend. Don't wanna knock Flynn given the shared last name; but f**king hell.

Yeah, hopefully Guptill can show some grit and these two must be here at lunch.

Guptill tries to prove me right as he plays a lazy uncontrolled pull shot and it goes through the hands of deep backward square for 6
