That'll do Saints, that'll do.    Congrats on another title.

Breakers have won 4 in a row.  That team knows how to get off the bottom of the competition table.

That is a great idea. Man who cool would it be to watch the Breakers play the Suns live.

Shame OKC isn't in it this season, I'm sure the breakers would have pushed for a match up with them.

Surreal stuff in the FIBA World Cup Qualifying, all in brawl between Aussie & The Philippines. Game ends up being called off with it being 5 Aussies vs 1 Philippines player on the court.

Going to be interesting to see what comes of it. Was last game of the first round of qualifying, both are through to second round now but I'm sure will be seeing bans etc from this.

Kickert's elbow was a horrible cheap shot

No excuse for the bench clearing/chair throwing/fan & official involvement from the Phillipinos, but that elbow was terrible, and really set the whole thing off.

Piss weak.

Absolutely abysmal - they hung the ref's out to dry.

Looking forward to whether Wellington Saints can get the three titles in a row, never been done before.

The Southland v nelson game was great. Looking forward to the final tomorrow.

Wellington Saints season starts on Friday! Team looking very good again. Thanks Mr Mills!

Will be interesting to see how the Tasmania team goes, first time an Australian team in any sport has played in a New Zealand league. Seems there is a game live on Sky every week and most being streamed on Stuff.

RJ Hampton, eh? Holy shark this is a phenomenon. Like the Nix signing Joao Felix or Vinicius for a year

Adams on the move again.

Basketball World Cup?
Somehow got some coverage of NZ v Jordan! Extra time thanks to a Jordan 4 pointer.

Only know a balding Pero Cameron the coach.

Yeah couldn't quite believe it when I read it! Seems crazy to trade away the superstar that you've built the whole team around

The new purchasers had not declared their roles by Thursday, but a perusal of New Zealand companies records showed NZ Breakers Club Ltd had been formed on February 28 by Wellington brothers and business partners Stephen and Leon Grice.

Breakers becoming an NZ owned team again!

I imagine a lot of people will be happy to see the old ownership gone - not least the guys at The Niche Cache.

Wonder if the new owners being Wellingtonians will mean they bring more games per season to Welly?

Solid payday for Adams & will help keep the lights on at AFC.

Wellington Saints have won their 13th NBL title.  Congratulations to them.
