On another matter, anyone know when the Olympic Qualifiers start? I hope it ends with New Zealand First

I don't think you are Lord-ing it over us at all, Chris. We have a common(s) aim to get as much out of a thread as we can - even if sado's like me have to draw upon Westminster for inspiration! I though the spectre of dropping out of sight was hovering over our wee thread, but I should have realised that there wasn't a ghost of a chance of that happening. Things looked grave for a while, but, hopefully, this will bring it back from the dead..

The Spectre of another nightmarish  own ghoul by the board weeji (ouija) is enough to scare  any  phoenix Phan(tom)! so im off down the pub with my mate Frank for a couple of (en)Stein  lagers as i need a  bloody couple of  pints and if i  were  to wolf down two or three  of pies as well that  would be simply super and natural to me so to hell with the lot of you!!

What we need is a volley of puns so that this old thread can head up the rankings again. We're not calling full time on this baby just yet. Not that we want to get offside with anybody, maybe some new people could put aside some extra-time to think up some puns

I reckon the key is to think outside the box when coming up with a pun. There is no intimidation as we do not referee the quality of puns, although applause can sometimes be seen. I ask people to step-over the threshold of this thread and participate.

Well never one to stand on the sidelines i will try my Best to play on but may need some extra  time  in association with the Laws of the game ,still im dribbling with anticipation even though the penalty's will be severe and could cause me  even more Heart trouble !
