On an individual basis, i thought Lance and Brown were good, Maloney and Inu good in patches like usual, and Rapira and Packer ran the ball hard. I also have no idea how guys like Tupou and Latimore are holding their place in the side
Probably because we don't have any one better who isnt injured.
The game last night pissed me off. I know we played sh*t and didnt deserve to win. But these refs need to start getting the calls right.
It also doesn't help when we have Vatuvei, Ropati, Berrigan, Fish all out and a few others. Also you could see that Mateo was injured.
Get all these players back and I think we would do very well.

I'm not so sure. Our perennial problem is creativity from the halves, and none of the players mentioned would solve that.

more entertaining watching the toyota cup, our lads were well dominant...looking good for another league title.
Queenslander 3x a year.

That is what Mateo is for but I think he is struggling. When you see Vatuvei come back you will see our team turn around.

Up 18 - 6 after 35mins. A lot of luck going our way. Storm looking sh*te at the moment
Fuck this stupid game

And we aint playing to bad either.
18-8 half time

We're pretty static on attack in their 22, if it wasn't for such woeful defence from MS I don't think we'd have gotten near the line. Melbourne do like to choke against us.
Fuck this stupid game

Should have clinched it there. Maloney has been poor, Inu has played well.

ukuma is terrible-sets up trys for both sides, we will take the win though

Yeah Ukumu is a nightmare at times. Inu saved three tries, cracker of a game.
Fuck this stupid game
Permalink
Yeah but you have to remember we are playing 2 forwards in our backline.
Ukuma also was a monster in the middle of the park, making good metres with the ball. I thought him and Packer did a great job being nice and physical and giving it to the Storm.
We played pretty good though, our attack looked better than it has done and our defence was mostly spot on.
Very good win.

Melbourne rolled over..i haven't seen them that slack in a while.
Would have loved to hear Bellamy in the sheds afterwards..thermo-nuclear I expect.

Good win over the Panthers, into the top 8. Would like to see Inu or Locke in the kiwis but sounds like it'll be Duffie
Permalink
As much as I love Locke he would get rolled over by the Aussies.
And well Inu is awesome in the air. He is pretty slow.
I guess we will find out in a few mins :)

I dislike how they are going to put Mannering in the Center's. And not pick some one like Matai

Yep - we used to have the best centres in the world, and now we have to put a second rower out there. Junior Sau would've been an option as well.
Good stuff to see Duffie in there.
Matai would have probably got sent off - only risk. We usually get caned in the 1-off games, will probably continue.
Also, Shillington out for Snowden
Permalink
Matai discipline has been improving. And he was averaging some thing like 150m per game.
With Mannering we will never score

We have just dropped the ball for the fourth set in a row. Try had to come. Absolute sh*t. We are lucky to have been in it on the scoreboard for so long.
Dissapointing as Aussie haven't been special, just mostly error free, and we just can't hold the ball.
