And it takes another twist with Eric Watson contradicting Owen Glen. Also said OG wants out and he'll find another investor or buy him out himself.
Seems Elliot was given a years grace but this year was expected to basically ace it and if he gave them a reason they were going to out him for McFadden - who was to take over next season full time. I reckon they decided Elliot was going to give them another mediocre season with up and down results and they believed McFadden would draw more consistency from the team.
Either way, whatever you believe, this has been an A grade clusterfuck. The last thing you do is lie to the fans.
