DF - All mainstream media news is intellectually bankrupt.

But my bug bear for today well for a number of years really is Black Cap batsmen.... getting out once getting to 20+. I can't remember who said it, maybe Boycott or someone but if you get 20 in a test match you should be getting a big score

Where is the accountability?

We get smashed by 202 runs and there are all of no changes. None. Zero.

is the Peregio comment for real?

eating on the bus
terrible music played through terrible speakers on terrible mobile phones on the bus

people who claim Rodney Yellow is acting democratically but standing "firm" on the seats issue.

"Kennedy drove a floozie whom he was intending to bonk off a bridge and failed even to try to rescue her from the waters into which he'd plunged her. He got away with it because he was a Kennedy. He went on to sponsor various initiatives designed to turn America into a socialist state. Most recently, Kennedy has been at the forefront of the move to nationalize health care in America—he whose own care was furnished so excellently by the private sector.

Yikes.

The way some in the media (particularly TV One) took the netball series against the Word 7 SERIOUSLY* even beating upon the NZ team. It was an exhibition series...

People who take netball seriously. Being a footballer from central Canterbury I get plenty of stick for playing the sport no one takes seriously, but netball is just rubbish.

What is your opinion on Basketball, then, Timmy?

I used to play basketball for my high school and club at senior level until about 5 years ago when I had to choose between that and football (time conflict on a saturday). Can't watch it on tele though it takes too long.

Interesting, given Netball's origins in Basketball. Do you see it as an inferior form of the sport?

Indeed, although it's probably because I don't understand a lot of the rules. You can't move with the ball and it's not a very flowing game, the whistle blows almost every time someone takes a shot. A lot of whistle blowing and fouls in Basketball too but it flows a bit more.
