Traffic offense:
Mucking around with mates on an empty surburban street, carried him 20m down the road in my boot. This guy saw me while riding his bike and when I got out of my car to let my friend out he confronted me, telling me not to move because he was calling the police. The man was partially deaf and had a speech impediment. Also had the Lower Hutt police on speed dial which lead me to believe that he does that alot.
Solution: I waited there, apologized to the man, offered him a handshake which was turned down because he said "don't want to have anything to do with scum like you". I actually felt threatened cos he was yelling at me in the street. Then he called the police who said they had a car on the way. I attempted to leave but he yelled at me saying I couldn't. 20 mins later no car turned up so he rung again and made me speak to the police. I gave them my details and they said I was free to go.
Waste of bloody time.

He told the Police his name over the phone. I've got a fair idea of it. Unless the Police follow me up on the 'offence' I don't think I'm going to take any action against the man except steer clear of Lower Hutt

Almost stepping on a large spider bigger than a ping pong ball next to my bed and getting such a fright whn he runs at me that I jump out of the way and collide with the bedpost bruising my stomach. then looking all over for him to discover he is calmly sitting on my bare knee making me get another fright and flick him off then spend ten minutes trying to catch him without damaging any of his legs, then releasing him outside but he catches the attention of my cat so have to protect him and now my pulse rate is still through the roof, i'm cold and i have a mega sore tummy... I blame the early influence of Charlotte's web

lol when he gave me a fright and i smashed my stomach i was more worried i'd stood on him than anything else. I have nothing against spiders and to my knowledge have never harmed one. just not partial to them running up my bare leg or underfoot and like many people with long hair the though of any kind of bug getting caught in it is unappealing
I was more pissed off last night that whn he ran up my leg i didn't even notice but for the rest of night cd feel imaginary creepy crawlies all over me

Well he wasn't incy or wincy - he was the jonah lomu of spiders and therefore i prob shd have thought of him as female since girl spiders are usually bigger than boys. i don't know why but I always think of sharks as girls and spiders as boys

Due to frequently just plain old not thinking I thought from this post that there may be a species of snake endemic to NZ that I hadn't heard of. I was about to look it up when the cogs turned.

The fact that NZF invited Jonki to be patron...
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.
