Just read the NY Times and the Wall Street Journal to find out what has been happening to NZ troops in Afghanistan. The PM when asked about stuff, yesterday, that was in the WSJ article DAYS AGO said he couldn't comment. It's in the public domain already, FFS.

Regardless of who is more famous, it came across as a bit of a cheap and unnecessary shot.
The thing about Becks (and to a certain extent Posh as well) - they have never set out to be social commentators or making statements/valued judegements other than whatever charridy work that all celebs do.
It's a bit like putting the boot into SuBo because while she has a good voice she isn't a 20 yo stunning lass with eyes as beguiling as wor Cheryl's (Tweedy), and also a bit simple. Although that is a bit more grey as that was an entertainment competition where those factors can be important.
I could say "I think Mr Key is doing a reasonable job in guiding NZ through some tough economic times and I support his gummn'ts goal of encouraging innovation and supporting economic growth, but I hear that he likes listening to Sheena Easton's 'Morning Train (9 to 5)' and Racy's 'Some Girls Do'. What an arse."

Don't get me wrong. Any time Stokes Valley CINA want to default to the Nighthawks for a game in a howling wind and driving rain that has been relocated to Trafalgar Park they should feel free.
However, defaulting a 13:45 game of indoor at 13:30 when I'm all set to walk out the door all kitted up is just fucking annoying. I miss out on a run, an escape from work and the chance to abuse my workmates, all because you can't send three people along and try and round up a couple more from the dozens usually keen to back-up for a game.
I don't partuicularly like Queen's Wharf indoor but it has a lot less suck than work so defaulters can seriously Get fucked.
