My punting luck.  I've bet on two games of tennis today and in both of them I've killed off a seeded favourite.

The title of this thread seemed as good as any to ask this question...

Does anyone know if you can somehow navigate to the proper youtube page of a video that is embedded in an article? If yes, how?

Does that make sense?

Irresponsible parenting

Glad this is on the front page of stuff and good on the father for realising he was a f*cktard (and now looking to make amends).

BTW just cos he has a science degree doesn't make him one.

Call me a racist (or something) but aren't the Yanks with their obsession about freedom for the individual and the right to carry guns (especially the NRA) the biggest dickwads on the planet?

Stupid people like this should be sent a bill for the treatment . This is an uneccessary cost to all tax payers and could have been avoided.

Watch the interview with Piers Morgan and the guy from the gun lobby, he was the most biggoted dickhead you could ever meet. I think Morgan handled it very well, he just let the guy dig himself deeper and deeper.

Friend got a bill from her solicitor. Bit pricey but there'd been a quite bit to do, and it had been done quickly and well,  so she paid it.
Three weeks later she got another bill. Quite steep and she was not certain what is was all about. So she asked for itemised bill. Second bill included that which had been in the first. So she called and pointed out the error. Solicitor agreed to send out a new bill and clearly she'd just pay the difference. Then friend looked at the difference and had misgivings. Before she took any further action the solicitor called and told her she was a problem client and he didn't want to help her anymore......

My point being that, as a cash fare for that trip I think it is somewhat overpriced.
Further my friend came out on the train and paid the same for Ava/Wellington return. Since when are weekends PEAK time? Have I missed something? Waiting on a reply from MetLink.

Just had a look at the train timetables for Hutt Line, no idea when it happened either, but Off Peak fares are pretty much now just 9-3 on weekdays.
JVL Line - Only has peak before 9am weekdays into town, 3-6:30ish weekdays out of town
KPL Line - Appears to be same as Hutt Valley

I keep forgetting that there is a small list of things that people are allowed to be interested in. Just so I remember for the future, can you reproduce that list? That way I won't be tricked into reading things that I clearly shouldn't!
