Getting older
My mother's in hospital following a stroke. This morning when I visited her I asked how old she would be next birthday. "Nine hundred and eighty," she replied after having given it some thought.

I signed up for Fibre in June. Just received another message about them trying to hook me up in January.
The amount of hold-ups, no-shows, and consent delays are beyond belief. I swear they actually would rather everyone not sign up.

i am still getting this as well, the main reason with me was they needed powerco to replace the pole outside our house, this was finally done 2 weeks ago. i contacted the company doing the installation to let them know the pole had been changed their answer was they needed to wait on the paperwork from powerco still nothing after two weeks so i emailed spark and told them i no longer want the upgrade as the company doing the install have not contacted me and i am sick of waiting.
I waited 7 weeks to get my TrustPower fibre optical broadband unlimited up and running. $49 per month.
