Crap website caught you out there.

Having to open every grade to find a game to watch is just a joke. I guess the idiots at Capital Football think everybody else has as much time to waste as them.

You do know that they didn't develop this website themselves, don't you? They pay SportingPulse to run it for them, your gripe should be with them, not Cap football. Unless you want your subs to go up even more, they aren't going to be able to afford a better website provider.

The website is good - easy to find out the status of the games and mostly know of the upcoming draws well in advance.

No complaints from me.

(Did like the musings of Ron Manager aka Tom Randles in the old site)

Your joking right ? The website is appalling, its design is seriously flawed in several respects.

It was far better a couple of years ago

I am sure Capital Football will happily have yiu submit a cost effective proposal (ie fuck all) to redevelop their website to one that meets your exacting requirements.

How many teams do you play for?

I think its great. There was the odd thing with the tables once rounds got played out of order, but they got round that. Only really need to check 1 or 2 grades any time I go on, so its not a case of going through every single grade at all. It provides better tables than previously, and fixtures more in advance.

Some people just love a good moan I guess.

Your gripe should be with NZF, they signed the Federations up to Sporting Pulse (an Australian based/ designed website).  CF are doing their best with what has been given to them, and if you POLITELY send them an email they are happy to help out where they can, and even appreciate it if you find an anomaly and let them know

Lets face it, if we all have time to scroll YF then we have time to scroll the CF fixtures page...... nuf said.  :)

Maybe some people are happy with mediocrity.

Alot of people like to follow more than "1 or 2 grades" and will happily support all the teams from their club, not just the top couple.

Whats that got to do with it?

Not sure what you expect though? For all tables to be on one page? For CF to put all fixtures on one page just so you don't have to click a couple of buttons?

I play for Eastbourne, so we only really have our team and masters. But I do have a fair few other teams from different clubs that I keep tabs on. Its easy as to just click the drop down menu then on the grade you want. In fact its easier than the old website I believe to check tables, as well as past and future fixtures.

Thats what they used to do. They also use to list all the cancellations on 1 page. Its more than a couple of buttons.

You can always click the Club directory tab at the top and then select your club and then click on club reports to get a current listing of all your clubs fixtures.
Comes out in a format that is easy to cut and paste into whatever you like.

Yeah nightz, I think the prob here is that you don't know how to use the site correctly.

It does everything the old site used to, just does it differently.

And it's ugly as sin.

But as has been pointed out, we all have NZF to thank.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Tell me how to a view of which fixtures have been changed or postponed (if any).

Tell me how to get a view of which games are still on

Smithy, I'm very aware of how it works thanks.

I'm also aware that NZF and Capital Football (and prob yourself and Tegal) have now idea who else besides the players try to use the website and find it dam near impossible to "easily" find the info they are looking for. (maybe why Fenix has asked their question above).

No it doesn't.  Not without a truckload of keystrokes it doesn't.

The site is dreadful, and of course if shouldn't rely on 'expertise' of its users to get the information that is required.

One of my first year trainees could do a far better job of designing that

I deliberately used the full site, not the mobile one.

In fact I find the mobile website isn't as good.

You can even view it by pitch if you want to see what games are going on at a ground you're thinking of popping down to.

The trick on the mobile is to short cut your clubs home grounds. Or surf the club fixtures report.

The ground report save me hour last year on friday nights checking the ground status just be for unloading all the nets at 7pm.

Yeah pretty useful!

If a game gets transferred onto a ground, does it also get added to the ground fixtures page?

But yeah, basically 3 clicks to any information nightz could possibly want.

Tegal, you need to charge your phone - only 14% battery left.

eg: if Miramar #3 has game scheduled and it is transferred it just disappears from that #3 ground list. So if you are a player you then go to Club Fixture list. But a postponed game stays on the original ground -listed as postponed.

You can view by club, team, grade or ground. What other information could you possibly want?

Earlier posts suggested that you wanted to keep track of multiple teams within your club - the club page does that.

I was responding to "truckload of key strokes". Sorry as I have said before I wish computers knew what I was thinking not what I typed.
