It's bloody annoying.

We could have a good 8 team grade with sides that are vaguely competitive and of the same mindset.  Should have formed a new grade with the sides that want to take it seriously and let us enjoy ourselves.

There are grades above with either 8 or ten teams (one stage there was a grade with 6)

Would make sense to sort that out better then reduce the number in this grade.

Maybe leave capital 13-14 as an entry point for new teams (just an idea)

This weeks game between Seatoun and Porirua will be interestingHaving the misfortune of having to play against both already this year I think that Seatoun were slightly better (even though Porirua scored more against us)Seatoun will definately benefit from playing up several more grades as I don't think they grasp the concept that some of us are just out to enjoy ourselves.

I thought they (Seatoun) were quite fair in the first half giving their social players a run. Hogster2010-04-22 18:48:55

8-5 win today over the stokes valley. gap could've been wider our keeper isn't really a keeper but full credit for standing up and doing it

Fair play to Slayers today when we were up 4-0 i thought we  had it in the bag but they came back to 4-3. Got a bit testy when the game got to 4-3 but thats natural considering the fustration of throwing away 3 goals but otherwise it was played in good spirits. Cheers .

If Naenaes could read maps I'd refer you to the Capital Fed site where they tell you where grounds are.  Failing that, you know where most games are played at the end of the season when others are out? - That's it!

Yeah, that was why I posted the draw afterwards (Cap soccer wasn't working for me when I first asked).

Lost 2-1 to Uni Cycles, game a bit disjointed when one of the Uni lads had to have an ambulance called and was left on the pitch until they arrived.  Hopefully some of the Uni lads will pop in and tell us how he is.

Lead for most of the match, but butchered chances and Uni finished a couple of goodies.  Good spirits, good game.  Just a shame we lost.

Hey guys, just wanted to say thanks to the Nighthawks for being such good sports on saturday, and helping out when Daniel got injured.

The last that I heard was that he broke both his tibia and fibula and was going in for surgery this morning, so is definitely out for at least the rest of the season. Hopefully everything went well and he's on his way to a full recovery!

Well, it was good that we didn't move him, like a few people were talking about

I hope he recovers OK, was definitely a bad fall, very unfortunate.

Has CF seen the folly in starting teams from a higher grade in C16. It ruins it for the poor teams faced with demoralizing losses. Don't wait to season end to correct a foolish punishment to a club

Pints 3-1 over porirua great win for us over a team that is over serious for this grade. Could of been more we hit the post twice.

6-1 to Slayers over North Wellington Stella, could have been a lot more.

Stella got away with playing 12 men in the first half.

Anything they could find to bitch about they did (Must have been the extra player) Bitching to the ref how a sub didnt have a shirt on by half way, forgot to realise they had a player without a shirt on. Then complaining that the slayers were offside in their own half (he is still adamant you can be offside in your own half)

Was a great result for the slayers and the score line was a fair result.

Did you guys have less players this week?

You guys would be an even better team if you didn't have to sub so much. Must make it even harder to get combinations going with all the changes.

4-4 with the Vauxhalls.  Should have won it having been 3-1 and 4-2 up.  Let them back in late.

First goal well offside, but kind of freakish and we've only got ourselves to blame for not getting three points.  Senior football debut for Oska.

Vauxhalls good lads.  Great results for both the Slayers and Pints.  Nicely done lads.  See you this Saturday Shrek.

Are Vauxhalls the team that yell out Vauxhall Viva when they score? If so they have been around for a long time.

Look forward to playing against you guys, bit of banter that does not actually get taken the wrong way.

Stokes Valley no names here.

Thought we done well in only going down 4-1 to Seatoun, who seem to be have got lost and found themselves in Cap16. They dominated possesion, but our keeper and their lack of finishing kept it close.

Seems we play well at home, but aweful away. Likely because a couple of guys usually can't show up to away games. Anyway, Brooklyn next...

after a serious game in porirua, it'll be nice to play a more social team this week. i am however enjoying the reputation the pints are developing as giant-killers. good luck to the stokes valley no-names should be a good game.

Good Spirits? the ref was sh1t.

He gave me a free kick for falling over the ball in the first have, the least he could have done was given me a penalty when I fell over my own feet in the box.

As a Seatoun player, I really think capital football are in lala land sometimes. Ok, we changed clubs in the off season in Div 5 and somehow wound up in Div 16 but it makes no sense at all! Its not alot of fun for us (well ok, maybe a little!!) but certainly not much fun for the more social teams. All i can do is hope the administrators wake up and look at the goal difference, and realise we should be in a slightly higher grade. Apologise to the rest of the teams in the grade its been a bit of a shambles.

What club were you at before? Why did you move? Capital Football allocates grades to clubs based on the previous years standings. If you move clubs it really is up to you to sort it out internally in your club. You could take another teams grade and push everyone else down 1 if your club allows you to do this.

I really can't see how it is Capital Football's fault. Can you imagine the nightmare of grade allocation if teams just moved clubs willy nilly and expected to get put where they were?

Yeah was on the sideline, gave NZ Copley lots of S**t, aswell as our own players. Love watching hard fought games. Copley was great between the sticks, MOTM for me!!
