rapa olympic 3-3 after rapa were 3-1 up with about 20 minutes to go. Once they are full strength they are going to be hard to stop.

Hahaha was pretty funny when he booked Jimmy for being a knob after his "altercation" with the keeper though. Gutted to see Ryder offside after he had absolutely rocketed that shot into the top corner, also how Seule didn't score after he decided to take the piss out of everyone by running onto a long ball, flicking it over his head with the back of his foot and being clear on goal was unbelievable.

Have to disagree with you about Mr Murphy. Murphy is consistently one of the best refs in the Capital football region.
Rapa have only themselves to blame for letting Olympic back into the game.
A coach who has some tactical acumen would have shut up shop at 3-1 and defended the lead.
Instead Rapa piled forward to look for the 4th goal leaving huge gaps at the back for Olympic to exploit.
So stop blaming the ref.

Is the petone vs miramar game postponed this weekend?
Hope not. Petone had 2 players sent off last week just to make a game of it with all the Team Wellington guys missing. They have also delayed the laying of an artificial surface so that there would be no unfair advantage. And if the game is boring there has already been a 24 page programme printed for people to read, not to mention a welcoming clubroom atmosphere. All about fair play out there in the Village.

You win the Hilton Petone then let through 9 goals in first two games. AJ13 I agree with you Hilton means nothing especially after this showing.
Got to be the favourites by a long way now for relegation especially after Wgtn Utd beat Lower Hutt who Tawa lost 5 nil to.
As for winning this thing. I don't think Wairarapa are going to be consistent enough to win it. But not sure. Very interesting to see Wests and Petone looking strong as previous people thinking that they would struggle.
Oh don't you love the central league.

I also happen to think Tawa will be in the bottom 2 this year as they don't have the quality to compete week in week out with the big teams. I know at the moment they are struggling to field a squad so can't see them getting too many points but at their best are the equal of Petone,L Hutt, and a few others. I have personally never seen a Tawa supporter on here claiming to be title contenders and i'm sure they understand their place in the league, which is the lower half of it. Yet, you just look to have a go for whatever reason.
Nothing wrong with their boys celebrating a Hilton Win in my opinion either.
I think the Rapa will win it and with a few games to spare, i hope Tawa don't come last just to spite people like you and I hope than you spend more time focusing on the team you support rather than running down others.

Haha I like this one. Been working hard to earn being called a w**ker.Think the winner will be decided between Wairarapa and Olympic however from what I've seen I think Wairarapa may have the edge. Olympic struggle to close out games from time to time eg they should have gone on and won the Hilton final and probably should have beaten us by alot more than 4-2 last weekend.

Both teams were pretty weak to be honest. Tawa missing 5 players from their starting 11 last year. Made for a pretty average game of Football.
Redwood park looking like carpet!! hopefully it will last...
