In fact I was and was quite disappointed with Team Taranaki. Maybe in was the conditions but they didn't look comfortable with the ball and instead often just went long. Big guy up top was absent for most of it. In the pocket of both Karori cbs.

A contrast in playing style and technical ability. TT were organised and tough to break down though  - some big rigs in there too.

TT seem to have a good spine they'll miss the big CB who picked up a yellow so should have a cumulative suspension. Both fullbacks struggled

you were at the game and have access to info about players misconducts.  you're an asset

I heard TT had a couple of good penalty shouts. Comments?

There was a potential hand ball in the first half but wasn't blatantly obvious, the ref was in a good position. Couldn't see from where I was. Can't think of any other good penalty shouts.

Thanks.

He picked up his 4th of the season against Gisborne on the 13th Aug then TT got defaulted to on the 20th, the last game of the season. By picking one up on Sunday would mean he now has 5 which equats to a one game suspension.

Apparently only has 4, McGrath must have been misquoted in the Taranaki post article after the Gisborne game.
Seems odd for the reporter to make up something like that.

Wonder how many of his cards are from when/if he played New Plymouth Rangers?

Im sure the reporter did not make up any information for his own article.  Most reporters like to be correct and hardly make up information. You know he's now on 4 and also that he's NPR.   What else do you know ahead of this 2nd leg?

What facilities are at the Petone Memorial for spectators? Is there a grandstand or shelter if needed?

Not much If Petone open their clubrooms you can watch from their balcony, otherwise there are a couple of rows of steps in front of the changing rooms - forecast for sunday is good though

umm 4stars. but yeah. So with nothing to fear then there is no need to be worried if a player is on 4 or 5 cards huh???  you seem adamant I'm a tt supporter.  i have not expressed bias or support for either side.  however 1-0 is hardly a convincing scoreline or one that indicates there is 'little to fear'  I think maybe oi oi edgecumbe might be more 'your lot' supporter as unaware of the petone setup etc.

i can safely say i know the petone setup and viewing arrangements ;)

Think you've shown enough bias and given enough hints for people to be able to reasonably assume you are a TT supporter.
