Clearly a fudge up in there. GD doesn't reflect W/L for that game.

Not sure why Miramar goal from a quick free kick was disallowed. Ref had not card anyone or lecturing anyone that I could see.

If he decided defence was not ready, I don't the threes a rule to say they have to be before the free kick is taken.

If he tells them to wait they have to wait

Was there anyone on the pitch in the Wests v LH who wasn't young enough to be a kid of Jamie O'Connor?

wests 6-1 tawa. Massacre.

Watched the Marist vs Rapa game, 5-0 to Rapa.

Rapa completely dominated, game was all over well before half time.

Knocked it round a lot, looked a class above the Marist boys.

looked like they relaxed a bit in 2nd half but game was all over by then.

Marist looked very poor seemed to have lost a lot of personal since last season.

Played a fair bit of long ball footy and didn't really have any answers to combat the Rapa Defence. Had maybe 2-3 shots on target late in the 2nd half but apart from that nothing else.

Ifill played 20-25 mins, scored a nice goal.

Thought Chettleburgh and number 2 (unsure who he was) from Rapa were quality.

Sounds like a lot of goals scored today - where do we get the results now

Don't piss off old people - the older we get, the less "Life in Prison" is a deterrent

Thanks 2B - I made the mistake of looking on the CF website and clicking on the Central League button, then to fixtures..   I should have known better.

Yes it was a bit of a massacre, but the way I see it Tawa are looking to groom homegrown talent, In the case of Wests I did not see too many of our promising youngsters in their catchment area on the pitch today. Do they all venture out of the local area to get game time at the likes of Tawa....

would say lower hutt 2-1 over stop out is a bit of an upset

Bit early to be calling upsets? Huge bouce back for Lower Hutt after Friday.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Stop Out 1 Lower Hutt 2 - all three due to "interesting" defending....
Our keeper won't want to remember this one. Then he got sent off.....

Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

Yep some pretty suspect goalkeeping particularly for the 2nd goal. SO missing several first team players, still looked dangerous on attack though, just couldn't find the net.

Did Sam Martin have a crack at Stop Out as well? Sounds like young Sammy did the rounds in pre-season!

If he is the UH keeper he has one of the busiest gigs in football this year (apart from KCU keeper)

pretty game also picking the scores there i would maybe just try to pick who will win and see if you get 100% then step up.

good luck with your picks but i think your last one might not be correct and the greeks will not get the win,

good sportsmanship and fair playing field is all we ask for

but all we get is talk and goal posts moving

Well,  my scores were all wrong and the Palmy-Mar was just completely wrong. But, in the other games I didn't do too bad. All margins correct.

I just had to pick the Greeks to win :-)....

Tawa 0 Stop Out 1 Gulley (pen.). We, Stop Out, were a lot better than last week. Looked really sound I thought. Well  worth the three points.

i was thinking a draw would be nice but not bad picking sir

the palmy result got me too

i think miramars form history is out the door this season for the first part as they are struggling in all their 3 top teams so maybe injuries have caused some issues or loss of personal and they are not up to there usual standard at the starting line.

but even a Miramar at full usual strength i feel NCR and Rapa are the two to beat this year

good sportsmanship and fair playing field is all we ask for
