shhh. apparently it was because LH got their CL game postponed cos of u20s, and they could stack v Petone. Should have just played it - Petone dont have a CL game either
Petone's and Lower Hutts first 3 teams where all playing.

Why should they have played Feverish, if both clubs and CF agreed to postpone? It was to be Petones old timers day which has also been put off I'm guesing till these 2 games are played.

Sounds like you are just having yet another dig at Lower Hutt because they are organised.

does anyone know how the suspensions work for yellow cards??
so you get a 1 match ban for 5 yellow cards!
when is the next time you get banned, 8 yellows?, 10 yellows?and how long a ban?

sounds like you are being defensive over your beloved LH again.

I was assuming it was Petone that asked for postponement so no.

So it was postponed so they can play the first and resies derbies at the same time so a bunch of old fogeys can watch? This is all rather strange

From NZF rules:

9. CAUTIONS ACCUMULATED BY A PLAYER

(a) A person accumulating five (5) cautions or multiples thereof shall

automatically receive a one match suspension. The player shall be

suspended from all football until the team, for which the player

received the majority of the five (5) cautions, has played the required

number of games.

Thought you would have known by now that I play for Petone. I therefore would have no "love" for Lower Hutt.
Capital Football rules allow for clubs to ask for postponements but then you would have already known that but I guess you could resist having another swipe at Lower Hutt/Peone. Why not have a go at Wests while you're at.

Capital Football Rules

1)      All games will be  played at the Managers discretion. Notification of all such variation requests or determinations must be advised to the Manager/Local Administrator prior to the proposed changes being scheduled, no less than fourteen (14) days before the match is played.

Why wouldnt CF accept a resonable request or do you think they need to explain the reason to you before they accept it?

Smithy - name calling. Typical of one so childish.

Feverish - why do you need to know? As previously said, its really none of your business so move on, I'm not going explain to you how to read.

Lower Hutt had 3 bench first teamers in the squad a couple of weekends ago, who stayed there and then the next game they dropped 3 more and then this weekend can be another three again? Something like that. It was down to how LHs games have been scheduled and the fact they could get either 6 or 9 first team players in the 2nds. Have seen some details regarding this just can't remember the exact reasoning

Why is the CL game postponed in the first place?  Neither team can win CL.  and there is a very slim chance LH could get relegated.  Don't really see the point.

yes we are aware of that winga.

so I take it that LH requested CL postponement, and so Petone didnt rate their chances in the Cap1 game so they requested that the Cap1 game be postponed too?

ahem.  I seem to be a bit of an expert on this.

If you haven't played for a while, you can get as many bookings as you like in your first season, and you will not get any suspension.

I wouldnt know if that was correct or not. I dont really see what advantage LH would be looking for as they cant enough pionts to get promoted and being in 6th place are unlikely to be going down.
I dont understand everyones obsession with what other clubs are up to when its all allowable under the rules of CF.

So, if you are worried about stacking, you can now asked to have your game postponed?

Think he was making a funny TSMA.

How have Lower Hutt snaked down the table?  They were top four for most of the first half of the season?  Tawa samesies.

In fact it's not unreasonable to say that Tawa ruined Olympic's season, those 6 points would have kept Olympic in the race at this point.

Facebook also reliably informs me that Western Suburbs spend about $1700 per win on their team.  Meaning this season they have spent $13,600 on win bonuses (if Facebook is right).

A significant chunk of change, but not an earth shattering amount of money to be up there in title contention.

Interesting to see details of player payments, which are usually a bit of a nod and a wink.

A Red Sox loss will mean no Manawatu side in the central league, something a few people suggest wouldn't matter, especially with Manawatu clubs not willing to pay for players. That's unlike their Wellington and Wairarapa counterparts who spend exorbitant amounts of money attracting players to play in a league where the winner can go nowhere.

Why are they making excuses for not winning anything? Id rather win a league and go nowhere than get relegated and win nothing.

1 Nil at half time to United via Carl Shailer. Seule Soroman made it 2 nil before Olympic scored with about 5 to go.
