Yeah apparently Corrales was running not looking where he was going, and ran into Sean Hennessey and fell over. After a bit of controversy Hennessey got a straight red much to Tawa's disgust and protest. I hear it was some young referee and he was being assessed by a ref on the sidelines. The game was being recorded by a Tawa supporter and apparently the ref making the assessment asked to see the incident again on film. Tawa will be sending in video footage to protest the suspension i understand. Sounds like the premier league or the NRL protesting a sending off with video footage but fair enough if it was as i understand a shocker of a decision.
vido evidence to overturn a card - ya havin a laff
Nope, Mike Wood the president, said at the Tawa club after the match on Saturday, that they were going to send the video footage in.
Has Cap Ftball ever overturned a decision based on video or would this be creating a precedent?Good Luck.
If successful I will appeal all my previous 20 red cards and seek a refund of about a grand in fines.
