Can't wait for the draw tomorrow. Hopefully we avoid someone like a Bays or Central. Glenfield at home would be a great chance for revenge on last year.

Brew Town are a dark horse. Pub team that knocked out Fencibles in this weekends round, apparently they have around 6 or 7 ex Conference players in their ranks. Could be a team to watch if they get a run going.

Unlucky, Buff. Got a nice trip to the country instead!  Have to try and get along and watch that one. Your boys would be pretty warm favourites I think.

Anything goes in the cup. I look forward to a nice trip south on Queen's Birthday. Already can't wait!!!

Match of the round: 2008 finalist and 2009 South Island Champion Dunedin Technical vs 2009 semifinalist and Footballsouth Premier League winner Caversham. Cavey and Tech tied on points in the years FPL (Cavey ahead on GD). Both had first round byes so one of these clubs will be out of the cup without having won a match.

Someone at school said Wairarapa could be disqualified for fielding a cup-tied player against Coll on the weekend. Played for Stop Out or someone in the earlier rounds or something. Is this true?

I hope the winner of UH vs. Marist goes on to play Taradale or someone

Pretty funny listening to the "live" draw for the cup yesterday, the FootballSouth draw was done over the weekend, we all knew Caversham would be hosting Dunedin Technical on the Saturday night, so why they made an effort of pretending to do the draw "live" is a bit farcical, just do what you did with the  Central Football region & read out the submitted fixtures?

Also FootballSouth might not want to post the fixtures on their website the day before the actual draw comes out....

Get your facts right it was done live and was not pre drawn only the capital was pre -drawn as I drew it Miles and I want it to be done proper and it was

Judda 16 you are correct " Live Draw My Arse " , Yatsey and Miles what a load of bollocks , didnt realise live draw meant reading the teams off a sheet of paper provided by Soccer Otago ,  Football South had it on there website on sunday morning then removed  it on Sunday night before the so called " LIVE DRAW"

BVG down here has always wanted the small teams to play each other and like wise for the big teams , whats the point of having the only 2 teams down here that can foot it in the last 16 playing each other in the 2nd round ??

Not quite.

The question is over the transfer status of a player who was with Stop Out pre-season.

Would have major implications for Central League also if the protest is upheld.

Doubtful though.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Computer glitch according Rab's report - more like user error!

However Footballsouths operations co-ordinator Peter Ritchie accepted that his computer included the two teams that had 'byes' in the earlier round, Technical and Caversham, into his automatic fixture producing programme.

He clarified the situation, deleted that draw but enough soccer fans had by then seen his version prior to the live official draw, and kick started rumours and thoughts of conspiracy.

Stop Out contacted our club and I heard Tawa , after we lost to Wairarapa, to protest against Abba as an unregisted player. To my knowledge neither club did protest as Wairarapa showed us the rego. from Capital Football.
It looks like col have been conned and protested.
Stop Out must be still hurting due to their relegation at
the hands of Wairarapa.
