Just saw, Gareth James??

The Gareth James that DOES NOT feature in the Central League.

Very good.

If you play for the WC XI, youve let the college down as you guys have managed to field the worst WC team in the last 3/4 years.

The dictionary in my head yeah, yours is infront of you I believe?

ahh yeah...where you from????

The Gareth James the does not feature in the Central League because he is in the states...silly fool. Know your stuff before you make a call.

How is it the worst team in the last 3/4 years? We won way more than we did last year, so there's a step up already. What are you on about?

Bro shut up and stop making coll look like a bunch of dk heads. Gareth James ant even that good. Theres been far better players that you could have mentioned when I was in the team.
Sam Greene, Zaan, Tarrant, Tim Mather, Keichi even Trompy Roddy etc...
Going to America doesnt mean your good haha anyone can get a scholarship all you got to do is send in a video of you playing football. I know a few people who are actually very average and have gone to states. And yes this coll team is terrible compared to the team 2 3 years ago when i was there and previous teams. We used to win 13-0 etc.. you guyes have lost and scrape through on results.
School footballs got worse its a fact.

I have just read the last few pages, and thought there was a typo in the topic, and it was about under 9 football.

Having Feverish contribute did little to dispel that theory.

All I do is make the stuff I would've liked
Reference things I wanna watch, reference girls I wanna bite
Now I'm firefly like a burning kite

Yeah that's fair enough. Pavlos, Uncle Steve- I'm not going to bother arguing with you anymore.

Easy to predict winners for this weekend? How are the pitches holding up?

Logic = fail.

Well Coll use to win 13-0... 2-3 years ago. So in your opinion all football must have got worse, because Well Coll no longer dominates. But is fact pushed by other competitive college teams. Could it be now that there are more excellent teams, instead of one dominant team in Wellington?

In my opinion, it seems that the level of footy has increased and Well Coll can't just cruise through things any more. When you have players playing for school then Cap 1, Champs Premier and Central league team, school football can only be getting better!

I'd have to agree with you nomad. I think pavlos would like to think school football was better when he was there lol don't we all..

Fuck this stupid game

Haha you serious. At Coll 3 years ago all those players I named were central league/bench maby.
Coll also lost in semis that year. Wel c.
Ye ok lets continue to talk about the under 19s/ivan england.
I believe Lower Hutt or Olympic to take it out. Would be a great final

Some teams will be missing players for a couple of weeks while they are on the Ole trip to the states. How do you think that will affect the outcome?

If Olympic and LH can gather their core team together, i think they have a fair shot of winning it.

If not then, not too sure. What teams are shaping up to look good apart from LH and Olymp?

What will Stop Out be like? They  have a number of their team that have been getting Central League experince.
Tawa College had a good team the last couple of years, are these guys progressing through to Tawa's u19s, what did the Olympic guys think of them?
Petone did well in the local u19s last year, I know a couple of them are now to old but they could still have a strong team.  They have also had a number playing in a very successful Central League team so should not be taken lightly.

I talked to a player in the Stop Out side and he reckoned the 15 year olds that played CL are a little young for U19's, so I don't think Stop Out are going to be a big challenge.

Wairarapa United under-19s will be looking to prove a point when they play defending champions Petone in their Ivor England Trophy soccer match at Carterton on Sunday morning.

In what is their debut season in the major section of this competition Wairarapa United started well with a handsome win over Waterside-Karori but Petone will provide a much better gauge of their ability to foot it with the stronger combinations at that level.

"It's a real test match for us, it's our chance to show just how competitive we can be in this age group," Wairarapa United coach Phil Keinzley said.

A plus for Wairarapa United is they will have the services of Aaron Spierling, Anaru Te Rangi, Kota Maeno and Anton Ross, all of whom were part of their senior squad which looks certain to win Capital Soccer's premier division title.

But they will have to do without their first choice goalkeeper Brendon Walker who is on a school trip. He will be replaced by Leighton Calkin.

Keinzley expects Sunday's game to provide an entertaining brand of soccer with both teams likely to place the emphasis on attack.

"It's a great chance for locals to see some of the very best young talent in the Wellington region in action, hopefully they will take advantage of it," he said.

For the Wairarapa United seconds Saturday's encounter with Lower Hutt, also at Carterton, could prove crucial as they battle to avoid relegation from the Capital Soccer third division series.

Going into this game Wairarapa United have a one point advantage over Lower Hutt near the bottom of the table and whoever loses will be in trouble in terms of retaining their current status. Kick off is at 2.30pm.

Lower Hutt City 7-1 Stop Out. Many of the Stop Out players are 15/16, cant really see them posing a challenge to any other teams

But the big news is that Wgtn Utd keeper scored.  Free kick about 55 metres out.  Jamie steps up to lump it forward.  goes over the head off defender, skids off the ground and through the keepers legs (i think).

Lower Hutt also gave 7 of their15yr olds a run. If that was Stop Outs full squad than they will struggle.

Yeah doesn't make any sense really, but this is what I was told by a current player in the side so I'll take his word for it.
