Just got back from a massive day in palmy. Boys feeling confident after today, only one nil but not one shot by Marist all game. 6 cup games this season 0 conceded. 12 wins in a row, keep it going for next week vs Nelson! Another tough game.

Coastal's latest newsletter said that it's Satdy the 24th, 12:30 at English Park. That's all I know.

Some keys games this Saturday in the men's MPL.

Number 1 and 2 clashed with Cashmere Technical taking on Nelson Suburbs.

Ferrymead Bays face Coastal with the Shield also on the line - the challenger have a habit of winning the Shield when the play each other.

FC will be past the point of no return if they do not beat Western and Halswell still chasing their 100th MPL win against Nomads.

I think the Coastal Bays match has been moved to English Park on Friday night...

So "apparently" Uni have appealed against ChCh Utd having too many international players in the Waimak v Utd game on Saturday.

The saga continues!!!

It does indeed!  Is there any substance to the allegation?

Apparently they have had 9 international transfers. Not sure how many you are allowed to play at once. 

So if all the alleged information is correct then Waimak are the only team in the top 3 that haven't cheated!! LOL LOL LOL

Surely after Uni lost points for playing a unregistered player all teams would be checking to make sure they field legit teams. As for international players how you meant to tell who is and isn't a nz player lots of foreign voices out there. Sounds like a bit of tit for tat going on between united and uni

I'm sorry but what was the $4000 fine for then On the Fence? 

Fielding an unregistered player (accidentally?), fielding too many international players (accidentally?) or deceiving a disciplinary panel (accidentally?)......? Just interested in people's opinions about "cheating".

So, no Christchurch girls at this age group.

I think mainland and rules is a bit of a joke really, seeing as they don't follow them very well. Though cheating and accidental mistakes aren't the same thing but I do agree that they both require reasonable punishment in accordance to rules that have been set. Shame about the girls for u17's but awesome news for the u20's. Good to see chch names in there.
