so what we are saying is Padmore is ok because he is passionate? Players like Dan Ede deserve more than passion!

If you speak to the guy he has great techical knowledge but it's fact he doesn't know how to win the big games.

It will be interesting to see if his team win another game this season.

60 minutes gone and still Suburbs 1 Bays 0.

15 to go and Suburbs still 1 up over Bays

Finishes 2 - 0 with Ben Wright scoring a late goal with Bays then awarded a penalty in the final seconds but it is saved.

Halswell v Chch Utd on Saturday

Genuine 6 pointer.

FC could go up and Coastal win WPL this weekend as well.

They were the best of times

Great news for lee Chris and nick they have all been granted one year extensions to their visas. Also a big plus for selwyn and waimak lets hope everyone can now move on and let them do what they are good at. Coaching.

Wasn't that tread was about players in the lower grades in Capital Fed.

The original poster never stated where they were from, even when asked. Yes a number of replies were Capital based but when I said I thought they were on about Cash Tech Turtles again the response was that I wasn't far from the mark. So you just never know....

Benchwarmer seems to have some knowledge about it aswell, won't affect the top 3

My knowledge is only from at the start of the season, and that the said player was also asked to play the week they defeated Nomads. Unfortunately for Nomads I know the said player I know of didn't play that week, however, that doesn't mean they didn't find others to do so.

The problem though seems to be can it be proved without photo evidence? After all we all know teams will put the names of registered players down rather than the player not registered!

Photo ID for Div 1 up is just as easy as changing Div1 to 3 rounds.

Plenty of big games on Saturday:

Coastal Spirit vs. Universities in the Women's MPL

Cashmere Tech  vs. Nelson Suburbs and Halswell vs. ChCh United in the MPL

FC Twenty11 vs. Nomads in Div 1

shame they are all on the same day.

Sooo. Parklands gain 3 points off turtles, looking at the ladder.

Is that from first game of season? Wonder how many other points they could lose? I know of at least 1 additional game Turtles gained points in playing a player not even registered to their club....

Good I take a camera to get close ups [time to use it not just for] the action. BW is that what Nomads are doing to play unregistered players, playing them as some other bod or not?

Good that Nomads gave a few youngsters a start v Coastal on Tuesday night. CS should be doing shooting at training for next season starting now after some of their missed efforts that night. Still only takes one goal more to win, aye lad.

Looking forward to Saturday game time.

Suggest you read my original post again.... I said that the game Turtles beat Nomads the player I know that has turned out for them was asked to play that game. On this occasion he didn't play, however, it doesn't mean Turtles didn't find others to fill in.

At no point have I said Nomads are playing players under different names, but we all know it goes on, especially in some of the lower divisions

You'd have to be pretty dumb to write down an illegal player on the team card.

Selwyn beat Parklands 4-3 today.  (I missed the game, but I'm assuming fairly high tempo game considering it was 2-1 after 15.
