I'm wondering wot the Cap FOotball CEO will say about this: on sat night we saw the NW coach in town hanging  with some of the NW girls, one of them under age and they were more than happy...... My mate took a photo and soon will be on the website.... Cap Foot never learns.....

Don't jump. It could be her mother or father in the group.  NW is a very family club.

probably he will. Anyway, not a good example, though....

Even if Stop Out do get up and win, they are losing a lot of players next year to Uni out of Wellington - also I love the comment on 30 metre throw ins. That would be from Stop Out's 15 year old freak of a centre back

So playoff is Memorial now? 1pm? How come it is overlapping with the men at Hutt 2pm?

Methinks you'll find the chaps are playing on Saturday, Mike, while the girls are on deck on Sunday.

Hard to believe.
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

So... Any news about season ahead?

I hear the toon have Peter Royal in their ranks, not sure what happened there with Lower Hutt? Wgtn United sound like they have a few new English girls in their ranks. Karori will have a bit of a transition year it seems. Upper Hutt have apparently 'signed' some 13 year olds!? Valeron you would think would lose a couple after Wanganui gained promotion. And Massey will no doubt still be pretty strong?  Will be interesting where the Marist girls go ... Especially if they all want game time in Central League.

Is Peter an assistant at Seatoun or what? I assume Massey will keep the same crew so will be the favs

Yes I believe he is assisting.  Indeed Massey will be favourites.  Though are Boyak (spell?) and McColl still injured?

I'd say Boyack will be out with rehab needed. I think Boxall is joining them from Valeron. I don't think Emily's injury was a major.

breaking news.....

PG is not coaching WNL anymore...... the WDO is the new head coach...... is she up to it ???  why PG is out ??

Why does cap footy insist on keeping the door closed? If there is no pathway in place what are coaches aiming for?  To work for cap footy and then not be allowed to coach within our clubs? Seems a bit anti development to me (nothing against Natalie Lawrence at all).

Maybe Paul didn't want the gig. Maybe he has another one. Maybe it's part of the plan to get women coaches coaching women (not that I know anything about this)

is this K/O cup the old kelly cup or is it the swans cup?

sorry for my ignorance but have not followed woman's football for a few years and things have changed so just sorting out what's what now….

good sportsmanship and fair playing field is all we ask for

but all we get is talk and goal posts moving

It is officially the ASB Women's Knockout Cup. It is open to all clubs in NZ

and is run in parallel with the Chatham Cup. The Kelly Cup still exists for

Wellington and Central teams and is held later in the season.

I don't think central teams will be invited to Kelly Cup this year. The invite last year was pretty much a mistake
