Yep my biggest hope for Uffie's time was that we would shake off the constant underdog tag. We have got close at times, but haven't done it.

Derbyshire converts a very soft 'penalty', 2-0

How that didn't warrant calling Ams over to review it, I have no idea. Even Derbyshire seemed bemused that it was given.

Thought a penalty was pretty obvious there. Attacker knocks ball past defender, and the defender kicks at the attackers feet/legs, he just got done. View from behind the defender doesn't look obvious, but watch the camera view facing the defender. Attacker may have played for it a bit, but that's legit.

That was a comical fall that the other Perth defender had right after it!

Defenders feet never move, the attacker fell over cuz he tired to change direction imo

It looks to me like the defenders right foot does move though... Funny how people see different things. On this one though I'm in Camp Bozza that it was a reasonably clear penalty.
I think if the ref was called over to look at it, penalty would've stood.

Actually wanted Perth to win, so would've liked no pen. Perth are playing useless anyway though.

From the angle Ams is on, I can see why he gave it. The defender looks like he is gonna stick his leg out & then the attacker falls. But on the reverse angle you can see the defender stops himself and his legs never get close, the attackers momentum from trying to change direction is what caused him to fall. I don't see how Ams wasn't asked to look at the other angle. I think it created enough doubt for the VAR to suggest he checks it.

No doubt to me it was a penalty.

That game got really scrappy after the subs came on, might be the first time that had happened this season? Ends 1-1

That Champness looked very lively and a real handful in the first 15 minutes of the second half. Nearly scoring goal of the season.

Wonder if he is suffering long term effects of catching corona in the UK?

Interesting. Didn't know that. He certainly seems to be lacking his usual vigour.

Can't find the quote but I'm sure he said he will head back to the UK when this season is done. So maybe just playing out the rest of his deal without much heart also.

Fantastic second half.

WSW score 74th & 78th minute to go ahead. VAR give a penalty to CCM 83rd minute. WSW should've scored in injury time, including hitting the crossbar.

Yeah, was a real cracker that 2nd half. The missed chance by Stensness, punished at the other end of the park within 15 seconds, will live long in the memory.

Good to see Bruce Kamau back in form this season. Seemed like he was a spent force the last few years.
