This is the worst half of football by CCM I've seen all season. Urena especially poor.

Have to wonder if all the talk of a sell off hasn't taken the wind out of their sails. That stuff can have a bit of a psychological effect right through a club.

Nabbout scores from an impossible angle, with the outside of his foot. Amazing. 1-0

Straight red for Traore. Touching the Ref in the melee afterwards might be costly

Butterfield with a sloppy table attempt on Nabbout in the box. J-Mac converts,  2-0

Glad Nabbout admitted the goal was supposed to be a cross so the commentators can stop acting like he meant it.

I hope they have the balls to throw the book at Adama Traore for slapping the ref's hand when he was pulling out the red card. He's a good player and I admire the way he has passionately continues to give a 100% and lead MV by example amidst the carnage, but really that sort of disrespect needs to be stamped on.

Feels to me like a natural consequence of players and coaching staff in general getting away with far too much sledging of the officials. The only ref who consistently shells out cards for dissent is Farghani, the rest seem to weakly ignore it, to the detriment of the game imo.

Tiago Calvano got an 8 week ban for grabbing a Refs arm after a Marc Warren red card back in 2013. So would expect around that.

Either well remembered or well googled RR. Must be getting old as I can't remember anything about Calvano, although I do recall the slap knocking the card out of Green's hand.

An old article references the massive ban Vukovic copped in 2008 and a reminder of the infamous occasion when Joel Griffiths punched a linesman in the groin and completely got away with it. Now that I remember as clear as day.

Matt Coleman (ex Fox Sports producer) on Twitter chirped up and mentioned it when we were guessing what ban Traore would cop.

Not sure either. I'm probably happier for that to just be judged as a collision, though at the same time, Milligan does charge in taking a big swipe at kicking the ball but missed while clattering into the player, so understandable in that way.

The striker's first touch was poor and the ball went for a goal kick. Mulligan got him after his touch. Bullshark penalty.

If you are old and wise you were probably young and stupid
