Ryan
Paulsen needs some sort of strategy to protect his notes.

Tucked in to his sock? Written on to his shin pads?

Three for me, and two for them.

Nothing in the rules say you can't do it, if the opposition wants to write down a guide to where players shoot and you're careless enough to leave it unattended then I'd toss it too.

He scored a few great goals but his "off the ball" play was excellent. Dragging defences all over the place.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

He will be honoured as "the David Ball of the lower placed teams".

Sydney host CCM tonight. Really hoping Sydney can put a few past them and get the job done early. That'll mean a home final if the Phoenix can finish off Melbourne.

I'm really interested to see how CCM pull up tonight after the AFC cup game the other night. They have had quite a few games now in a short period of time, I'm wondering if we see it start to actually affect their results or not

They're looking energetic. Mariners should have scored at least once.

Sydney living dangerously, redmaine has been forced to come out and dive desperately for the ball as the mariners have been one on one with the goal keeper, twice now.

Yep, 1 shot 1 goal. Against the rim of play

Im conflicted, as much as I want a home final it sucks that we have to root against the mariners to achieve it.

Pitch looks a bit of a shocker. Two great footballing sides restricted in the ball movement.

Poor header that by Nisbet. Should have at least worked Redmayne harder there and perhaps should be 1-1.

I know he's only knee high to a grasshopper, but he must have been at least 3 metres clear of any Sydney defender. Meekly heads the free header straight at the keeper.

Wonder which CC is better- this season or last season’s?

Sydney should have the quality off the bench to finish this out late in the game. As CCM tire.

Straight red means Rodwell would be out for the GF if they made it that far wouldn't it?

Feel a bit sorry for Rodwell. It’s a challenge which wouldn’t likely have been a foul during his footballing education.

Doesn’t go over the ball, doesn’t make a lot, if any real contact with the player, gets there first.

Certainly Uffie got away with plenty of those!

Talay is such a loser. Mediocre for 4 straight years with us (except for maybe 4 good months in his first season). And can't even draw against the Mariners two days after they flew halfway across the world in cattle class. Really pathetic.

I didn't think the 2nd red was worthy of even the second yellow. 2-1, not out of it yet. only just over 14k in attendance.
