I'd like to think so as a I really don't like them as a club. Went to a few of their games back in the day when living in Melbs. I'll be kind and call their fans unpleasant. Plus they had Muscat (not Manny) back then.
But they openly talk about their past success, and their expectations to win trophies. They don't care what others think of them. Winning is all that matters. They will just see these losses as hiccups, and expect to go again next season.
For my 2 cents worth, that had to be the dirtiest Grand Final I have seen. Kelsey lost control after 15 minutes. I reckon City were worth 4 red cards (Leckie especially) and the Victory 2. The last 15 minutes was like watching Wrestlemania. A crap Grandfinal. Auckland matched the attendance for their home Semi.

Being pedantic has to be given its the first game played. Didnt the season and contracts finish on 30th June so new season starts 1st July. So next games in new season will be Australian Cup games. 😉

Yeah that surely doesn't count for last season which finished well over a month ago.

Players like Ollie Palmer who currently wears the number 9 likely won't be there when the season starts (if the club get their way) - they just signed Ryan Hardie who usually wears 9 but has currently got 18 for this tour. It's likely he will change once Ollie Palmer is moved on.
There's a few others this will potentially happen with and if they put names on for preseason, fans buying the new shirt and getting names on the back might be disappointed when they either leave or have a completely different number come game 1 of the season

I should have phrased it better, my bad. Even tho its the first match of the 25/26 season, it will probably be the biggest crowd any ALM side plays in front of.
Glory vs AC Milan on the 31st July maybe has the highest chance of beating it. I doubt Sydney FC vs Wrexham will top it.

No one knows for sure. Issues with the turf at Moore Park in Sydney apparently a major factor in the hold up.
