Great effort and well deserved. Reminded me of the old Lawrie McKinna Mariners.

Victory v Jeonbuk. MV leading 1-0 at the break. Had forgotten what a horrible stadium Etihad or Docklands or whatever the hell it's called today is.

It's empty too. Why on earth don't they play these games at AAMI?

15 to go and MV still leading, despite giving Jeonbuk the ball at every opportunity.

Nice to see Kosta bagging one. They were lucky to get a point though.

He's very lenient that 12 year old referee. Quite a few of the fouls tonight would be yellow cards in the A League. And a yellow card that one of the Yokohama players got would've been a red from many of our refs.

Feels weird cheering on MV but well done to them, a good win.

But for two dodgy offside calls Kosta would've had a hat trick.

No one watching the WSW game? 1-0 up into injury time.

WSW hold onto the win after sneaking an early goal. Sounds like the Japanese team couldn't finish a sandwich.

Kind of an action replay of last night: early goal, absorbed a lot of pressure, ran their arses off and got a deserved win.

Bit lucky but they still count.

I'd say that the swarming WSW did a pretty good job of shutting them down rather than KF missed a bunch of open goals. They only really broke WSW open about twice; one Covic blocked well, the other the KF striker miscontrolled at the vital moment.

CCM 1-0 going into injury time. WSW game just started and is 0-0.

Good win for CCM. Lucky for them Reddy was on form tonight though. Couple of good saves, particularly the penalty which came from one of the dumbest fouls I've seen in a while.

I find it interesting that Appiah seems to have got a lot of game time in the ACL for WSW. Still don't think he is good enough for Aussie but could be a decent option for us.

He's been quite impressive too, even marginally better than Hersi, who is not the force he was last season. I would certainly hope that we are keeping a close eye on him as a future AW prospect. The more players in the talent pool the better.

Never ceases to amaze me how Popovic manages to get valuable contributions out of former icons of A League mediocrity as Haliti, Hyphen, Heffernan, D'Appuzzo, etc. He is a true natural at coaching.

WSW riding their luck, surely the equaliser is coming soon.

FFS the first bit of possession WSW get in 10 minutes and Golec boots it away.

Thats a pretty decent strike to give Kawasaki the lead, only a few minutes left now

Blaming Covic for that reminds me of the whole 'Paston should've saved that' nonsense last year. It was a piledriver right in the very corner. Defence should've closed him down.

2-1

Not sure of the value of keeping Ono on for the whole 90. He barely touched the ball in the 2nd half, never pressured a ball carrier or tracked a runner. If you are going to defend in depth and try and hang on to your goal lead you can't really afford to have two men up front doing very little.

Disappointing.

Troisi converts the most softest penalty you will ever see, Victory 1-0. No Kosta, he is out suspended.

Did my usual trick of leaving the room for two minutes precisely at he wrong time. Brief description?

Geria got a light shirt tug in the box, with the ball clearly going out of play before he gets to it. Was barely inside the box on the side.
