I've personally think I've only ever seen it on the A Leagues socials and the commentators saying it

Only caught the first half but some of the Auckland crossing was really poor. Rogerson in particular.  Nice play for May's goal. Auckland  could have been down by a goal or two at half time. Germain missed an absolute sitter. AFC are a good side but they have had a lot of good luck. Top of the table clash  vs Nix coming up

Yeh, Rogerson a bit out of touch again, but nobody has been amazing in their last couple of games, but they’re winning ugly.

2 more wins and they will have equalled Knights version 1.0

Even though I want AFC to do well, they really don't look like a side who could come back from conceding a goal.

AFC look very blunt on attack and the 6 goals stat proves it. Everyone else with 6 or less are bottom half of the table.

Gillion and Rogerson are holding them back, both of them are turnover merchants and it stops AFC building sustained pressure. Once they figure that out, and depending how they go with a lot of travel late in the season, I think they'll be well in the title fight.

Nah. There's a big BLACK KNIGHTS sign up at the North end of Mt Smart to try to force the meme but it ain't working.

I actually do think a triple M front line of

May, Mata and Moreno would be good and there are goals there

Sad to say, but especially Gillion. Rogerson had a poor game, but has done better before.

That and they started with some poor long shots.

With one oggie and two gifts from our keeper. Then it becomes much worse.

Thought Gillion was actually pretty good at holding onto possession in a couple moments this game.

Until he can actually do something with the ball all his running and beating players is just wasted. No doubt they have done well but they have had it pretty easy so far the real test is yet to come. Can see them staying in the six could make for a juicy finals series in NZ

Agreed, been plenty of players in this league who have had loads of pace but no end product. They can hang around a bit as their pace worries defenders until it becomes obvious they are not really a threat.

That's probably because T-AFC do sit right down in the corner and we're very familiar with him now!

It’s a little bit difficult to argue against a team who haven’t shipped a goal in four games and have scored in each, about the potency of their attack.

The manager also looks to close down games as quickly as he can once they take the lead which is evidenced by the subs.

Definitely down to Alex them so far not shipping one and a very lucky miss in the last game when it would have been much easier to score.

Not until they have to chase a game will we really see what is there attacking wise.

Auckland will rise once more

Avert your eyes. Read somewhere that of the Nix fans who stayed to watch the 2nd game, about half went and sat with the Macarthur fans, and the other half in The Port area.

A bit like on here some want AFC to lose every game, and some have them now as their 2nd team (or sit on an uncomfortable fence even).

Auckland will build their season on not conceding. The keeper, back four and holding midfield all look very strong and capable of matching any of their A-League opposites.

Going forward will be the challenge. Gillion and Rogerson look good in flashes, but seem to be massively lacking an end product. May could be very important up top through the middle.

They've also played 3rd, 6th and 7th so far (as well as dead last). They also have 3rd again in a fortnight. They look more than capable of finishing top 6, and the more scalps they claim that focus may turn towards top 2.

Three for me, and two for them.

Haven't seen much of Moreno yet. No doubt he's getting more up to speed with tactics etc every week. Wouldn't surprise to see him start against the Jets this weekend in place of Logan R.

Gallegos knew exactly where to pass to find his fellow Sth American, May. Something Gillion and Rogerson seem to have been struggling with. I'm expecting Moreno to quickly build an understanding with the Uruguayan striker, and that should lead to more 'end product'.

Gillion only played four pro football matches, he's in a big learning curve, and you'd think has more potential upside than Logan.

Proud to say I had never heard of ISHOWSPEED before.

Absolutely massive online figure to anyone under 18 - easily one of the most famous celebrities on the planet in that demographic, a bonafide A-lister for teens, so to get him here (at what seems to be Ali Williams’ house) and in an Auckland FC jersey is unprecedented. He also donned an All Whites jersey for the majority of his livestream, which had hundreds of thousands of concurrent live viewers and has reached millions since.

It’s hard to gauge just how widely known he is if you’re unfamiliar with streamers or modern social media use - so if you’re not, it’s no shame! This may bring Auckland kids on board in a huge way
