CCM's ACL kit

I love these, possibly the best kits CCM have ever had. Will obviously look better when they get a sponsor logo to fill the gap.

They really should have added "Your Business' Name Here" because I'm not sure it's obvious that they're looking for a sponsor. Bit too subtle, I think.

Already in discussions with sponsers. "To be named soon"

Just in case you have missed it there is a stand up for the Mariners campaign being run on the Coast, essentially to try and protect the current owner from trying to make us a de-facto Northern Sydney team...

This is from our forum  http://www.ccmfans.net/community/threads/standupfo...

This is our equivalent of your ownership thread titled " Turbulance (then calm sailing, then turbulence) thread"" the last say two pages of the thread is were fans / supporters are starting to formulate ideas pertaining to trying to stay on teh Coast and connect directly with FFA & David Gallop  ... http://www.ccmfans.net/community/threads/turbulenc...

Central Coast Mariners can today announce that the Club’s Hyundai A-League 2014/15 round 16 clash against Adelaide United will now be played at Gosford’s Central Coast Stadium.

The Saturday 7 February fixture was originally scheduled to be played at Brookvale Oval in the heart of the Manly Warringah Football Association – an area home to over 16,000 registered participants of the world’s favourite sport.

However the game will now revert back to the home of the Mariners after Football Federation Australia (FFA) management agreed with the Club that the Brookvale Oval surface would not be in an adequate condition for play by early February.

I do enjoy the little posters the Mariner's put together to promote their games.

The superhero comics a little while back were particularly good.

I think it's quality.

Arnie did say he would never coach against the Mariners, did poach their best players, and does have the propensity to whine. Easy target, but its done well.

The Mariners do have some good people on their staff still obviously, they seem to have some good marketing campaigns and fan engagement that we lack.

Hard to see this being any different to Kingz/Chelsea or Northern Spirit/Rangers.

CCM have a partnership with the blades already http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Central_Coast_Mariners_FC#Affiliated_clubs, which is probably the main reason Nick Montgomerry signed with them.

The Blades also told them not to sign Ifill!

Im guessing that partnership soured after Arnold rubbished the way Sheffield is set up.

Sounds like CCM will get two u21 kids sent to them, not sure whose choice tho.

Getting mocked in the Guardian's Said & Done column:

Record of the week

Former Portsmouth CEO Peter Storrie, discussing his new job making Australia’s Central Coast Mariners “a break-even organisation”: “My long-term record stands up to scrutiny.” • Storrie’s pay at Portsmouth as they headed towards collapse –2008: £450k basic plus £750k bonus; 2009: £600k basic, £500k bonus plus “football bonuses” – £3,000 per win, £1,500 for a draw.

Moss didn't give hutch a run in his final f3 derby. I think there are times when emotion IS a part of football.

Holy shark... I didn't really expect this. i thought they would clean house one way or another in the post season. Moss really didn't have too much to work with.

Hutch as player-coach... don't know about this.

Plenty of issues with each of the NSW sides (Sydney FC aside...)

Tribulietx should send his CV in, his contacts would be a massive improvement for their visa recruitment.

I would hope that Tribulietx would aim a little higher than CCM (no disrepect to CCM Fans intended). Like Newcastle, their owner and admin problems seem systemic.

I'm not that close to the issues but seems like Charlesworth hasn't really developed the club in recent years.

I see Walmsley is the Tech Director - I'm guessing he didn't want the temporary management gig.

Reads more like Hutchinson is an assistant, similarly to what Muscat did at Melbourne when he was playing.

"Stepping in as interim Head Coach for the remainder of the Hyundai A-League 2014/15 campaign will be Central Coast Mariners newly appointed Technical Director, Tony Walmsley.

Stepping into a player/coach role will be Central Coast Mariners club Captain, John Hutchinson who will take on the dual-position until the end of his final campaign as a player."
