Its all very well thinking that it will be ok living away from the family for awhile; its a very different story when things start to go a bit pear shape . . . illness, kids not doing well at school, wife overburdened etc. etc.
Wouldn't blame him at all if he up sticks.
This is not necessarily a glass half empty scenario . . . I reckon he's almost certainly the best coach that the Phoenix have had; doesn't automatically mean that they're stuffed without him.
In one sense if he's really unhappy with the situation then its best all round if he leaves at the end of the season. The novelty of another 100k or whatever, if he can get it, will soon wear off.
