Kewell, Heskey, Bridges? I know Newcastle is a bit backwards, but it isn't early the 2000's

Jets letting their fans pick the away strip, from these 3 options.

Who is this surname player? Is he any good?

Allegedly

The second one, for sure. Brings back the gold, so I'm sure that will be the one picked by the fans who miss their old colours.

My thoughts as well.  It also looks pretty sharp.  Don't mind the grey one either.

Didn't both shirts this season have gold trim & numbers?

This won the vote. Lets hope we only play them once in Wellington this season.

Hunter Ports Newcastle Jets defender Sam Gallaway believes the Jets are adapting well to playing with a three-man back line following the conclusion of their first six-week block of pre-season training.

The Jets tested a 3-4-3 formation in their 3-0 win over Lake Macqaurie last Wednesday, with Gallaway lining up alongside Taylor Regan and Scott Neville in defence.

I can't see that ending well. Back 3 & Scott Neville

The Newcastle Jets have completed the loan signing of Nathan Burns from K-League Club Incheon United.

Burns’ loan deal will commence on September 1, 2013 following the conclusion of the K-League regular season.

The 25-year-old forward will remain with the Jets until January 11, 2014 at which time he is scheduled to return to Incheon United.

Zadkovich to Millwall apparently and GVE was trying to secure a central defender for his 3-4-3 plan. Apparently approached McKain, Luke DeVere and Alex Wilkinson. All turned him down.

Iain Strachan @IainStrachan

Emile Heskey just popped his head in the press box window, confirmed a knee injury and said he will have scans tomorrow #aleague #goJets

Gary van Egmond had a terse exchange with Ange P and Kevin Muscat in first half. Said @EmileHeskeyUK's injury could be a medial ligament

He is probably lucky Muscat was not playing as it would have been more than a medial ligament.
