I don't think clubs sinking money into aging stars is they way forward on a whole for the league, but quite honestly the league this season could do with a couple stars to help get a few more fans through the gate. A strong Melbourne Victory is good for the league too, even if they're grubs they're by far the biggest club... Next couple seasons are about recovering lost ground from the pandemic, and I think moves like this help in the short term. Would love to see Nani at the cake tin

Will be 36 in November, but did chalk up some very useful stats in the MLS in his 3 seasons there.

Since joining Orlando in 2019, he tallied 28 goals and 23 assists across 77 games (64 starts). The winger was also a two-time MLS All-Star.

Well this is interesting. I thought he was out the door & heading back home mentally half way into last season.

Yep, he's been linked to return to Israel every season since he got here.

It appears I had a bit of a miscommunication with a very good source, Tomer Hemed has NOT signed for WU, there was talks but the deal did not go through.
He has signed in Israel.
I do sincerely apologise, I wouldn't have posted if I didn't trust my source 100% sorry for this!

It didn't make sense at the time, a big slice of humble pie to be eaten on that one. The bloke is a reliable source of info but something about him rubs me up the wrong way.

So Ninkovic left cuz Sydney wanted him to get his citizenship, so he didn't use a visa slot anymore.

why is that a problem for him? Serbia allows dual citizenship. Weird.

I see there are rumours that fabregas is signing for McArthur?!? Him and Nani would be huge names for the league

Well that was unexpected. When I saw the tweet which showed a photo of Big Ben, I obviously thought it would be an English import. I guess this will be Keogh's replacement.

I expected it to be an Englishman also but they have gone for the obvious 'big and called Ben' gag. It was a good swerve tho.

Azubel seems to have scored a lot in the Israeli second tier but struggled in the top tier. I really dunno what to expect from him.

Interested to see whether this guy starts as back-up for Fornaroli or is put up front with him.

Wth is so great about Newcastle, what made McGarry interested in joining them? Has a chance to pursue an opportunity overseas and become a more impressive player but instead decides this is better.
