So he transfers to Celtic, plays two games and then they loan him back? That seems a little fishy.

Think he has had injury issues & just can't break thru now he is fit, so wants game time somewhere ahead of the Olympics.

Gauci going to Aston Villa is pretty big news. Continues good track record of Aussie goalkeepers in UK.

It also sets the bar for what we should aim for when Paulsen is eventually sold.

I would be asking 2.5 Million Euros plus 15% of any future transfer

So how much did they pay for Gauchi then if an A League record... Bos was over 2 million and Irankandu apparently with add ons is around 3 million.

Adelaide to make 5mill plus this year in transfer fees - I wonder if they are making a profit this year then?

Torres has been excellent for CCM - happy to see him go before we play them. Given he is only 6 months into his contract with them - this should be a decent fee as well.

Fabrizio Romano reporting 1.5m euro for Gauci - so roughly $2.5m AUD. Don't know if Irankunda's add-ons will be counted in the list of highest deals just yet.

I wonder if the Nix will stop helping them out financially now?? Wasn't it them or was it the Jets??

It's the Jets. The Jets are owner-less and are funded by a consortium of clubs. Adelaide united have owners. Perth also doesn't have owners, but they're being administered by receivers and the APL.

You're right. Confusing way of announcing it. Don't think anyone saw that happening as a CB either.

Tommy Smith signs with Bulls... Don't think anyone saw that coming.

Wonder if Auckland has set this up to get him used to the ALM ahead of next season (I know I would).

Same sort of speculation for Rojas. You'd think Auckland would be singing the players and loaning them out rather than asking other teams to sign them on short term contracts.

CCM wants to sell their visas, Victory just care about winning. Traditionally the ALM favours older squads.

I'd be more concerned that he's been playing in leagues like UAE and Kuwait which are hardly the best leagues in the world, and his Kuwait team ended up being relegated.

Roly Bonevacia signs for Victory. Lots of odd signings happening at the moment.

I always liked Roly.

Same. It is just gonna be awkward cuz I want him to rediscover his mojo but need Victory to keep dropping points. Dunno if they can co-exist.

Off to Viking it looks.

Sounds like they also tried and failed at picking up Ikonomidis from the Victory.

Somewhat out of the blue this one.

Turns out they have to pay half the loan fee to Dundee United

Maybe Auckland decided no. Not been in particularly good form this season.
