Interesting idea and potentially sound business decision for a season. Seems like ISL is where the money is, so probably helps Jets bottomline as a stop gap measure.

Already had a spell in Asia, Donachie (Sth Korea)

Kosta the next player to jump on the ISL gravy train?

And Dylan Fox is heading to India as well

At this stage the whole A-League may as well be exported to India - save the A-League and save on the admin of individual transfers in one go.

Stuffed if I know the attraction of India. "Covid, covid here I come....". Money is no good to you if you're in a pine box.

Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

The Ruf, The Ruf, The Ruf is on Fire!!

If you are facing at least 4 months with out getting paid or playing in India, it's an easy choice

With the ISL and the A league being both short seasons. Perhaps they should stagger them (which is kind of happening) and players can then play in both if they choose to earn some extra coin.

Similar to the agreement W league has with NWSL in the USA.

Do you really want to roll the dice and want to pay the ultimate price?

In terms of Covid, its not really a roll of the dice for healthy athletes in their 20s and 30s who are going to be bubbled away.

ALF to the ISL confirmed. Being a loan, maybe he can come back to finish the A-league season?

[Edit: Ah, I see they are looking for a replacement. Guess he won't be back then]
