I assume he’s going overseas but Yengi would be a big acquisition if we could snap him up. I’d definitely take Tratt back too (if he were okay with it), great RB/CB cover.

Interesting thing about Yengi: Ben Waine, who is three years younger than Yengi, has a better goals per game ratio than him.

He's a big, strong, aggressive guy, and admittedly his development this season has been badly effected by injury but I'm yet to be convinced by all the hype about him.

Sturridge has to go down in A League history as the biggest waste of money ever! including Heskey.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

The Frenchman looks to have a good pedigree, played a lot of Ligue 1 before heading to the Middle East.

I'm a bit meh on Yengi, he just isn't consistent enough for me to get behind. I see glimpses of what others do from him but I just expect to see it more often in a 23 yrs old. If Rudan can get that out of him more often and get him on the park for more (1,448 minutes over the last 3 seasons), it could be a very good signing.

Midfielders Nicolai Müller, Oliver Bozanic, Matt Hatch and Noah Smith along with defenders Ruon Tongyik and Lewis Miller have all been released by the Mariners as they pursue other opportunities in their career.

I’ll take one Tongyik thanks. Miller is even better but I imagine he’s moving to a “bigger” club.

Edit - just learned about some allegations made against Ruon from last year. If there’s any truth to them then I wouldn’t want him anywhere near my club or city.

Miller is off to Macarthur, Bozanic to WSW & Smith to Victory. No idea who these 3 clubs chasing Tongyik are. Hatch will be a good pick up for a club, he has done well coming off the bench for CCM.
