Reports from Croatia that Lustica has had his deal terminated, so maybe that is Adelaide's signing.

From SST - Sydney FC close in on signing foreign left footed central defender of Serbian background. The player has played in Turkey and Germany. Deal not yet finalised but close to completition

Has the initials NP, peoples guesses are Nikola Petkovic

Also rumours of Golec to WSW floating around.

Looks like he is injury cover for Antonis until January http://theworldgame.sbs.com.au/news/1166937/Sydney-calls-Petkovic-in-for-cover

I struggle to see the exceptional circumstances that Sydney will be trotting out to get this approved.

Had a think about it tonight, they may have a decent case for exception circumstances. Antonis was sold to Parma but they backed out of the deal, leaving them with a player they didn't except to have, on money they might have not budgeted for and who is injured for half the season.

Glory got an injury replacement for Dodd (http://www.footballaustralia.com.au/perthglory/news-display/second-chance-at-glory-for-evans/74535) and Brisbane think they can get one for Lambadaridis, so maybe they are easier to get now.

Andrea Migliorini was trailing with Sydney during their Italian pre-season and is currently with Heart in Perth. Looks like he last played in Slovenia.

Jets are my wooden spooners, they just haven't added any quality this season. Their big signing is Nathan Burns for half a season.

Chilean centre-back Pablo Contreras has just been released by Olympiakos paving the way for him to become Melb Victory's marquee signing..

He'll become the first defensive marquee player in the A-League. Has played 67 times for Chile. Deal is expected to be announced on Monday.
