Maybe the FFA Jets should sign Codhill.

Isn't Codhill a Sydney boy? Can't believe neither Sydney club has been linked with him as much as Melbourne, especially considering how small their strike forces (and crowds) are now.

Codhill has been linked very much with a Sydney club. Unfortunately that club - Cronulla/South Sydney/wotever - doesn't (yet) exist.

Sage said the club had agree with both Lowe and Castro on personal terms.

"We're 99.9 per cent there, everything is agreed, but as you know in football ... until you've got that signature and it's come through the fax machine ... we're not 100 per cent sure," Sage said of Castro.

"Diego's on a beach somewhere near Barcelona, so we're just waiting for him to get back to the hotel to put pen to paper."

On Kenny Lowe Sage said: "We've talked to him about extending his contract, he has agreed, so hopefully we'll come to terms in the next two or three days."

City & the FFA asked the other clubs if they could have a 3rd marque slot, surprisingly the other clubs said no.

Austin still wants out of CCM.

Victory might be offering Pain, seen him linked with Adelaide also.

What did they expect the answer to be?

Gatty has backtracked a little this morning after new info

Not sure what the difference between a 12 month guest contract and a 3rd marquee slot is tho tbh

FFA are shady cods! Ask the clubs if they would be happy with City having a 3rd marquee.
Clubs say no. FFA change rules to let it happen anyway. They are sooo desperate for Codhill.
Am I missing something? Is he going to solve all our problems?

Sydney FC is reportedly set to snap up Estonian striker Henrik Ojamaa

FourFourTwo understands through sources in Scotland that Inverness Caley Thistle, is keen on bringing the striker to the north, however the Sky Blues have reportedly put in a big money eleventh hour bid.

What I don't understand is if they're loosing Mooy don't they have a marquee spot free? How can the FFA justify giving them three marquees?

These high profile signings seldom live up to potential, he's also in his late 30's and seems to go through a couple of clubs a season.

I'm gonna put my tinfoil hat on now.

FFA are trying to bump up Manchester City's attendances, so they can leave us summarily with the lowest attendances, to kick us out prior to the conclusion of the license (licence?).

They have someone lined up to replace Mooy & will give Bruno a new deal. The FFA are desperate to increase the metrics for the new TV deal and see Codhill as a panacea for their woes.

Money over competition integrity once again.

Why even bother having a salary cap?

Jack Duncan to the Jets?

Guess Reddy might have to head to Perth if he wants another A-League gig now.
