Less singing at Homebush Road...

...after leading 1 - 0 at half time and completely dominating Potential Fools came back and equalised, and then stole a winner in the 90th minute! F@#*!

And the Steam Engines lost 1 - 0 too.... grrrrr.

Out of the relegation zone with a 1-1 draw but should have been an easy win, slightly frustrating.

Nice work Tegal - I know I'll be coming back down again, but hopefully yourself and some of the others can push for promotion this season.

I see Archie Askew came on at half time, but then picked up and Injury against the dirty Lions...

Three for me, and two for them.

love it Tegal you have too much time on your hands - but keep it up. I've been pretty lucky this season, picked up a decent striker in Arikan and the OM Straka has fitted in really well.

top of the league I'm still top of the league, some very astute tacktics and the key injury of my star striker saw Team Wellington push my guys to the 88th minute 3-2 vicotry!!!

if you had you would have deserved it, your two wingers cut my defence to shreds, probably occurred cos I was demanding a very attcking mindset the whole game, I should have stuck with smarter football Also my star striker was our with injury which reduced my scoring chances.

:( I am sad this morning, my early season form that saw me battling for a promotion spot has seen a mid season slump and we have conceded too many goals to drop back down the table, lost 6-3 last night what a horrid game, Eaton kept up his scoring with a brace, but my defense needs work.

yessss! just scraped out of the relegation zone with a 1-0 win over Parakai FC.  Picked up 3 yellow cards though.

What's the story with Yellow cards anyway? I had some players pick some up weeks ago, so dropped them for a couple of games but the cards remain...do they expire over time?

I figured the yellow card beside their name meant they were one yellow card from a ban?
17 Jan 00:04 · edited 19 Jan 23:50 · History

Yea same.  But do the Yellow cards expire in time? Or do they hang on until the end of the season/once the player receives a red?

17 Jan 00:24 · edited 19 Jan 23:50 · History

They hang around until the end of the season or until he gets banned unfortunately.

They have a yellow/red card points system I think and in some circumstances, a red card ban may not necessariily means that the player starts back at 0 points again.  Think it is explained somewhere in the User Guide (can't log on while at work though).

17 Jan 00:42 · edited 19 Jan 23:50 · History

ah, found it:

BANS

Everytime a player gets a booking or is sent off he is awarded "penalty" points.

Yellow = 1 point
Yellow+Yellow = 4 points
Red = 8 or 12 points
Yellow+Red = 9 or 13 points

Everytime a player accumulates 4 points he will get a one match ban - and 4 points will be deducted from his total penalty score.
So if a player at the start of the season gets 4 yellow cards (and no reds), after the 4th yellow card he will get a one match ban and his score after the ban will be 0.
If a player gets e.g. 2 yellow cards (2 points) and then gets a red card worth 12 points his total score will be 14 points meaning he gets a 3 match ban. His score after the ban will be 2 points and another two yellows will earn him a one match ban and so forth.

Appreciate it! Sadly I lost top spot thanks to a draw against 5th (ish). Its a pretty intense race at the top of the table! Enjoying it.

1-1 tonight against 5th spot, still holding top spot, tough home game next up though against 8th place but it looks to me as though spleenpool has stacked his 'b' team of late.Perhaps not, I beat the same team 1-0 away from home.
