Even though we are losing and being dominated I think the boys are looking better, more passion and effort and if we can keep Sydney to 1-0 we have a chance of getting something out of the game

What I saw was looking very promising. Smeltz holding up the ball well, Brown and Lochhead feeding him- was it Brown who got the assist for that goal against Wales?

Gao just a constant entertaining menace. Muscat seems to be doing ok. Dodd and Sigmund ugly and stoic with it. Looking composed with the ball at their feet.

Yellow fever loud and vocal!

Come on Phoenix!

To be honest, if we loose, I'll still be really happy. We are playing football, we are challenging. Players I really rate are performing (Gao + Siggy).

At last! Gao has ben awesome, I'd like to see him play through the middle a bit more. I've always preferred Paston to Moss, I'd like to see him retain his spot. Muscat looks OK, one bad game against Adelaide and he was vilified, maybe he's a better player than given credit for. A nd Sigmund - absolutely outstanding.

2nd half I want to see a lot more movement off the ball. We are way too static up front. Maybe that goal will give us the confidence to make something happen instead of waiting for it.
