Hope Sotirio coming off was due to fitness and nothing else

Disappointing result. Conceding in the first minute and not being able to score. Reading the twitter account of the game, sounded like we had the better of the opportunities but there goal keeper kept them in it.

I know its only pre season but we need guys like Piscopo and Ball to be getting on the score sheet. 

It's an ok result I guess. We didn't have Marinovic, Davila or Hemed. To be honest, it was their keeper who kept them in the game.

Should we be concerned about our defense?

We have scored heavily in the other two games. Relax.

We kept an A League squad goaless for 89 minutes... that's good, isnt it?

This time last pre-season we lost to Brisbane Strikers.. This year they were pro's. So we're definitely on the up!

Kiwi goalkeeper Aidan Munford has spent some time training with Wellington Phoenix in pre-season. Looks to have signed for Wollongong Wolves so a handy guy to have on their doorstep and a good opportunity for him to train with Stefan Marinovic and Oli Sail.

2020 FFA cup got cancelled, but it will return in 2021

Take the win and ramp up preparations going into the season. Very interested to see how we've played through the 90 though. I know the coverage is coming from the CCM twitter account, so it's not likely to feature too much on how we've played. 

According to CCMs tweets, they had many chances and Oli Sail made lots of saves.

I'd be very surprised if we only had those two goal attempts and that was all we offered. 

I'd actually be rather concerned if that was the case.

I'm not relying on an opposition's Twitter feed to wax lyrical about our attack. We'll be fine - Hemed and Davila are waiting in the wings

Is TAHW injured?

Neither am I. Pre season being what it is (especially this season) I guess we're relying on the tidbits of information we gather off social media and whatnot to see where we're at. I'm sure it was a lot more even than what was forthcoming. Even if the overall result doesn't matter overly much.

Rather excited to see Uli and Hemed come in to the fold as well.

Likewise, very interested to see what Hemed is able to do and definitely hoping we get an opportunity to see the boys in Welly!  Also hoping Uli is a bit closer to his pre covid form than play off form.
