After organising an e-ticket yesterday, my membership pass was waiting for me when I got home.
Ticketek have created a lot of work by not getting these out at least 1 day earlier.

Due to a severe lack of funds, I thought that I would have to miss out on a season ticket this year.

However, yesterday afternoon I felt obliged to give the hotline a call. After being on hold for 46 mins, I managed to snap up my Foundation Membership / e-ticket.

Bring on the Jets. Mon the Phoenix!

I'm 2340, so seems within Wednesday afternoon to the night we sold 32 memberships. Not a bad number sold I suppose.

Have you purchased a 2011/12 season membership but are yet to receive your card? All memberships up to and including Wednesday 12 October have been processed, printed and mailed. If yours is yet to arrive then please report to a Ticketek window at the game on Sunday and present your driver's licence or passport as identification and you will be issued with a paper ticket to the game.
NOTE: give yourself plenty of time to get your ticket, DO NOT wait until just before kick off. Allow at least 30 mins and enjoy the game!

Will be interesting to see how much post-match venting there is about this

Haven't read the rest of this thread but quick question for you guys...

How much is a season membership this year (not Foundation Membership), and how can I get one? On the Phoenix website it's not an easy process -- there's no price listed on the membership page and the best I could find was a "prospective member" form I could fill out to sign up to be in the club... No price or anything. Does anybody know? Or perhaps it's too late to sign-up? I'd prefer to know the price of membership before filling out the forms and signing up for a Phoenix site login.

If I click the "Join as new member" tab at the bottom of the following page, the only options available are bench warmer memberships (ie, voluntary donations from out-of-towners):

Normal 'silver' membership is $250. 'Gold' is a more expensive, not sure of the exact price (the only difference is that 'Gold' gives you better seats around the halfway line).

If you're a student or pensioner it's cheaper, but not sure on the prices.

$150 for students I think?

You need to go to the top left of the page (after clicking "Join as a new member"), and click on Login/Join Now, and from there go to the Sign Up page. After that you choose the membership type and it will have the prices there before the payment options. I think prices for Gold memberships are $315 for adults, $180 for students, for Silver/Fever Zone/Family Zone it's $250 and $155 respectively.

Hope that helps :)

Thanks for the info guys. Still undecided about whether I'll grab membership this year, but will definitely be down to most, if not all, of the matches!

then get a season pass dude.  You won't regret it and you'll not have to worry about purchasing your ticket for each game, thus giving more money in booking fees to sh*tekek.

I've been thinking, and I don't think I'll ever actually be bothered going up to the member lounge, especially as the others in my party aren't elgible. Any non foundation members want my wristbands? (Assuming it doesn't violate any Phoenix sub-clauses).

I have been trying my best to get more and more people to home games. First home game I brought 8 people who had never been to a nix game before. Coming home game (against Viktree) those 8 have confirmed their attendance again!! I reckon they're hooked ;) 4 of those 8 are seriously thinking about buying season memberships! Got a couple to buy nix merchandise including 1 stripey and jacket from RYOS lambton..

I feel proud. Proud of phoenix and YF that they can attract new fans. Keep up the good work.

Just thought I'd share.

"The Phoenix have sold just 2300 season memberships this season down from 3200 at the same stage last season despite the A-League experiencing a 16 per cent overall increase.

Phoenix chief executive Nathan Greenham was unavailable for comment yesterday, but has said this week that membership sales were hurt by the combination of a tumultuous off-season and the RWC dominating the interest of sports fans."

Disappointing, but not surprising.

I think once things have settled (is that now?), and with the Phoenix still in touch with play-off aspirations (if later), then a reduced half-season ticket or special deal rest-of-season ticket should be looked at.

Something that doesn't sh*t on the loyals, but recognises the adverse market up to this point in time.

If we have a great day out tomorrow, there's even an opportunity to move on this quickly imo. Not sure if I'd stoop to GrabOne, but such options could be considered as you can get quick bucks and high market access (although wouldn't want to see the discount that is the norm with the GrabOnes of the world - see condition 1 in the above para!).

Some opps need to be considered nevertheless.

ok so week three of the league has been and gong, and I still have no foundation membership pass.....second week that I've had to rock up with a printed/emailed ticket! Waiting for ticketek to answer now to find out where the f*** my pass is! If the welnix crowd read this or anyone has their contact details they need to get rid of ticketek or at least give them a serious talking to, 10 weeks have passed since I paid for my pass, and still nothing except excuses about manufacturer errors!

If you get interviewed before your kick on Friday, you should ignore whatever questions you get asked and explain your season pass situation.

Except the likely outcome of that is a negative Phoenix story not Ticketek.

Finally got around to buying a Benchwarmer membership. got the one without the ticket as there was some debate over whether I could use it in Auckland. Will probably cost me about the same in the end anyway

A hell of a wait and one email later.... And I have heard nothing. They have't ever responded. I'm getting a benchwarmer membership so I am practically GIVING my money to the club and they haven't even taken the payment from my card yet!

Pity it's an exact clone or could've been a nice freebie for me to attract new mates with...
