If he had been released you would expect that news to have made it through the grapevine.

Seems we are playing Sydney in the 'gong on the 19th September.

Woo hoo! I'll be there. 20 degrees plus. Followed by booze & band at 'Beaches' in Thirroul. Life is sweet on the NSW south Coast.

Friday night game, so the Sydney Nix guys will have to call in sick. I'm sure a pre-season pub crawl could be arranged.

Can you ask Gorrin to try saying "Whose keys are these?" and jangle your set in front of him?

Are they also playing Petone tomorrow or did I invent that? Two games in two days seems unlikely?

Ok, tonight, crowd of between 2,000 to 2,500? Anyone else concur? Brockie, Boyd, Brockie, Rufer were the scorers. Decent enough game. Played with a definate plan. I thought the first half was 2 touch  instructions, 2nd half was closer to e or 4 touch. No high ball route 1 shit. Upper Hutt did fairly well I thought.

Was behind the Nix bench, Ernie was constantly yelling at Gorrin for getting too far forward when we had the ball. He also spoke to the guys on the bench about wanting Rufer dropping into the hole between the defence & midfield, feeding the ball wide for Boyd & Brockie to run onto it. Very much how the 2nd and 3rd goals were scored.

Was with an old dear, my young niece and brother in law. So quite possibly.

Not sure what Ernie was trying with Watson in the second half. He was almost in a #10 role, with Hicks in front of him.
