Why don't they play the f*cken cricket at the Basin

At a guess I'd say it's because the lights aren't good enough to play day-nighters there

Why have a full Basi  with 11,000 cricket fans when you can have 11,000at the Stadium and make it look empty. What Cricket games have been ear marked for the stadium anyway? If it was NZ V Australia youd get a decent crowd but Holland V Kenya and there'd be more players than fans.

Interesting that we will be able to renew our passes without knowing how many games we are paying for or when the games will be at home.

I'm pretty sure that first game will sell out, one of my mates with links to NZC said it's close (ish) now...

Just a tip, when I called Phoenix membership number listed in the email (04 384 2457), they told me it was the wrong number and I was redirected to  04 3843842.

I also couldn't renew online (again), but once I got through to the right place, apart from the computer's being down, the person I spoke to was very helpful.  However she was not aware of the new deal for foundation members where the club membership is included.

You can get up to 4 tickets for the EPL game with membership.

Just looked at my ticket renewal, my foundation member ticket is $199....nothing on there I could see...unless i am doing it wrong about free tickets for foundation members, have tickets listed at $75 dollars each for the double header

Yeah it's weird. My foundation renewal was $199, but my wife's silver season pass (right next to me) is $169. No idea why.
I'm going to leave it a few days for everyone to get their ducks and a row, and then give it a crack.

I may take the $169 quickly then! Before it goes up!

Maybe all the home games are in Auckland then?

Isn't a Foundation member automatically a "Premium Member" so including Club membership?

In the Football United thread, Thunderstix says 11 home games in Wellington [vs 10 this year] plus games in Christchurch, Auckland and 1 other location to be advised.

I saw that too, it was the first I've heard it mentioned. Good news if true, and I have no reason to doubt thunderstix at this point, she's been pretty on to it in the other thread.

Thunderstix said in the football united thread that prices were fixed at 13/14 prices for renewal. But when I go to renew my seat (silver student) it is 135 + fee, last year it was 119 + fee. Could anyone shed light on this?

Extra game at home? so cost per game is the same, but the higher price reflects an extra game at Wellington?

That's strange, because my student Fever seat renewal (also Silver) told me it was going to be $119.
