i am going to sound like a broken record as i have been pissed off by ticketek since the beginning of time (or at least the beginning of the phoenix) it never seems to of been easy for me to get my season pass over the years and then there is the scanning issues which i had last season and others are having again this season. also i had issues with not been given my proper seasons stand (seat) twice over the years and then unable to get it back for this season, which pushed me over the cliff and now i can not be bothered dealing with ticketeck so will not be buying me a season ticket until there is a new system or a new company. some people will not like my stance on this as the club does not seem to be in a great place at the moment. i have still been going to most of the games but getting friends i drag along to deal with ticketek and buy my match day ticket for me.

i did not go to yesterday's match v adelaide as we had a serious water leak at home and i had to spend 4 or so hours digging trenches for the plumber so the cost would not be so high, my two mates who i was dragging along with me still went to the game,  have not heard from them to see if they enjoyed it or not but with the weather and then having to drive home afterwards it will be interesting to find out from them what they thought of the day.

Barcode scanner, invented in 1940's first commercial scan 1974. Ours took each 15-30 s to scan, shambles. Imagined we had 20k people coming through the gates?

What happens to the metrics when season passes don't scan. Do they count to show the FFA?

Marketing to fans based on gate info. Probably doesn't happen.

Would a season ticket holders line speed things up?

You are right about the logistics. 20,000 non scanning season tickets would be a nightmare for everyone -

What do they do at the victory with their 25,000 members coming thru the gate?

That is an excellent question. Does this affect the stats?

So must have seen comments here and on Facebook or just got enough calls about the card problem.

Why not just fix their frigging machines so the cards are read correctly the first time?

Impression is it isn't the card readers but the cards that have been printed themselves which is why the cards are being replaced

I replied for new cards. My phone could scan the code on the card in 0.234 seconds (I made that up, but it was kind of instantly) and try next home game get in with the phone app. The should install those NFC chips with their new stadium upgrade so you can use you phone to grt in.

A season ticket mate of mine again got refused the 20% discount when trying to buy a ticket for his wife. Once inside the ground, he looked up the benefits on his phone just to double check. Found the list of benefits and thought "Fudge it', went back out to the ticket booth and and asked for a refund. The staff member didn't know anything about the discount and got a supervisor. The supervisor acknowledged it but told him he would have to go to booth one for the refund. He then went to booth one, explained the situation again and again, the staff member knew nothing about it and referred him to a supervisor again. He finally got his $12 refund.

Why are the staff selling tickets not told about this?? This is supposed to help us season ticket holders get cheaper tickets for friends that may come along with us and potentially buy a season ticket themselves if they enjoy the experience. This kind of shark service is not helping.

If it had been a Government department, he would have had to apply in triplicate, with a stamped self address envelope and waited 3 months for the refund to come through on a cheque that required 5 working days to be cleared! ;)

First time using the cards this week (renewed late so didn't get them until after the 2nd home game and haven't been able to go again since then), so fingers crossed they work.

Gotta get my replacement card ordered too. Nearly the end of the season so it should arrive after the last game.

Eep, the wind and my drunkeness blew my 16/17 member scarf away on the way to the train from the game last night. Messaged the Phoenix Facebook page asking what I can do about getting a replacement, still yet to get a reply. Any advice?

Emailed them to ask for a replacement card this morning and they replied by sending me e-tickets to all the remaining home games which I assume means we now have to use these and not get a new card which would be disappointing. Anyone had trouble and been sent a replacement card?

Hmmm, they replied again clarififying that I'll need to use the e-tickets for now as it will take up to 3 weeks to get a replacement card. Still unsure whether we are actually getting a new card, so will just have to remember to print tickets before each game for now. They also appear to have sent an extra complimentary ticket for tomorrow's game.

I'm glad you mentioned this, I had assumed that was just for my normal seat

Yeah they have sent me 2 e-tickets for tomorrow in my usual seats, plus an extra comp ticket for a different seat. Will see if a friend wants to go, otherwise offer it up here if anyone needs an extra ticket.

curiously our season memberships have now decreased, while all other teams have increased. WTF?

cant trust the FFA, unless of course the reduction is due to the expiring of the 3 match memberships???

No word yet that I've seen. But I'm due to get my more formal catch-ups underway with the club for the coming season so I'll make sure I ask that first up.

Dont think so talking to her last year she had resigned to go overseas on holiday and no idea what she was doing on her return. However at that point her sister was taking over her role

Minimum, Club still deciding on whether or not to move another 2 or 3 out of Wellington. Different season, same shark.

i find most people moan about something, if you disagree with anything in life people will always accuse you of moaning but in your own eyes you feel you are just putting your own opinion out there and others can take it how they like. if you went back and read every post on yellow fever you would find everyone here has moaned about something that they disagree with.

Thank you. Apparently, we are not allowed to express opinions unless they have been vetted and approved by some.

Back on topic. The club would certaintly need to finalised any more away games before coming out with ST prices wouldn't they?? If we were to lose 1 or 2 games, can they please be in New Plymouth and Napier?

I've seen the 16/17 Membership page advertised twice today so looked into it.. Looks like it has some info on the 17/18 season
