The Pound took a hammering this morning (UK time).  The NZ Dollar looking valuable now....  how about this young man, off contract at Argyle and our captain at a young age: Curtis Nelson.  Decent centre back, young, a leader and very experienced.

Also lots of players in the championship and league 1 won't be eligible for work visas when the separation is complete which might help our recruitment in a couple of years.

Well the FFA have stated we can sign a full season guest player out side of the two marquee players so who is out there??.

All ten clubs will be permitted to sign a full season guest player, on top of the currently permitted two marquee spots.

“The full season guest player opens the door for clubs to attract high profile players that not only bring talent and exposure to their market but the entire competition,” said FFA CEO David Gallop.

“This is a sign that we are serious about making the Hyundai A-League an exciting competition for our fans and an attractive proposition for high profile players to play their club football.

How about Messi, now that he has retired from international football perhaps he might like to try his luck down under. In 5 years time he could play for New Zealand!!

Ronaldo's better. And after his recent Portugal performances he too may consider retiring. Disclaimer: Ronaldo's not better!

Steven Adams in goal could be a winner.

We may be too late for that - they might have been asked to form the next British Government.

Sorry, should have been more obvious that that was supposed to be a BREXIT (attempted) joke

This Brexit has openned up a whole new opportunity for some very dry wicked humour.

Tories to elect Stephen Hawking as new PM to deal with EU trade relations.  Knows a black hole when he sees one.

They are definitely not in the EU

they wouldn't have been allowed to recover from the 2008 financial crisis in the way they did if they were EU.

In the classic add 2 and 2 and get 5 transfer speculation style, Adrian Marriappa has been released by Palace, was on the bench in the Cup final and came on, his Dad is Fijian and we need a centre back - nailed on surely.
