Anyone know if Tom Jackson has NZ citizenship?

You'd want Harris over Jackson either way. I know Harris has some tie to NZ, that's why he came over in the first place but I don't think its close enough for citizenship.

Would I?

I think Harris is a more complete player and his game would translate better to the step up. Obviously wasn't intending to put words in your mouth, it was a turn of phrase. Either way, both of them have been outstanding for TWs the last 2 years and I'm expecting an obscene amount of goals from Harris this winter cos he's playing in Nelson 1st Division.

I prefer Jackson personally, but it's close IMO. I thought Harris' injury problems precluded him from full time training, which would probably be a sticking point for a squad player if that's still the case.

You know we belong together...

Gamerio - no thanks, all he will do is rise our ACC Levies.

It's such a shame he has been so injury plagued. I thought he looked really promising when he was with us and was disappointed when he left. Given his recent history though, there is probably too much uncertainty about how much game time we would get out of him, let alone what level he would return at.

Yeah his career as a pro is probably over, but he could be worth a trial and if looking sharp a minimum wage deal.

Especially an aussie one

He's apparently looking good in training. But it's a moot point.

So long as we don't get another Jeffrey Sarprong

Speaking of, just a little update on how he's going.

He's currently taking his Greek side to relegation with 20 appearances and 4 goals.
